New 2025 Rankings Positional Breakdowns Point/Combo Guards

Prep Girls Hoops Missouri presented its newly updated Class of 2025 rankings last week. We begin our positional breakdowns with a look at the top point/combo guards.    A 5'10" All-State performer who is the top point guard in the state. In addition to being a three-level scorer on offense, she is also a relentless on-ball defender who can intimidate ball handlers with her pressure and ability to steal the ball. As a junior, the Indiana commit averaged 14 points, four rebounds, three assists and three steals to lead the Red Knights to a 31-0 record and another Class 6 state championship.     A 5'10" point guard who is one of the top prospects in the Mid-Missouri area. She is an excellent ball-handler and distributor who can also shoot the ball from long distance. She has received numerous scholarship offers from Division I and II programs around the country.     A 5'5" point guard who led the Lady Tigers to the Class 2 state championship. She is an excellent floor general who can run the show while also being able to get buckets. As a junior, she averaged 18 points and three rebounds while making 40 3-pointers. She scored 33 points in Skyline's victory over Principia in the Class 2 state championship game.     A 5'9" point guard who will be spending her senior year at [program_tooltip program_id='715781' first='Link' last='Academy'] after three excellent years at Class 1 Chadwick. She has excellent athleticism along with tremendous court vision to find teammates from anywhere on the court. She is also a very capable scorer who can shoot the 3-pointer. She earned Class 1 All-State honors after leading Chadwick to a district championship last season.     A 5'5" point guard who has tremendous speed and quickness and three-level scoring ability. When she gets into iso situations, she can really cook with her creative ball handling and shot making ability. She had an excellent summer with the [program_tooltip program_id='713121' first='Lady' last='Brad Beal Elite'] 17U squad. As a junior, she averaged nearly 12 points a game while shooting 43 percent from 3-point range.     A 5'5" point guard who has been a fixture in the Battle starting backcourt for the past three years. She is quick and very shifty with the ball and she distributes the ball very well. She also has a very steadying influence on the team as she keeps things organized. She is also a very capable offensive player who can knock down pull up jumpers and hit open 3-pointers.     A 5'6" guard who returns after helping lead the Bulldogs to another trip to the Class 3 Final Four, where they finished as state runners-up. She is a high-energy player who can really shoot it from the perimeter. As a junior, she averaged 14 points and six rebounds a game game shooting a toasty 46 percent from 3-point range.     A 5'5" point guard who has been the floor general for the Eagles, who have won back-to-back Class 3 state championships. She has good quickness and can touch the paint on penetrating drives to collapse the defense and find open teammates. As a junior, she averaged eight points, four rebounds and five assists a game.
