Class B is a fun classification to watch on the hardwood. There are some really good teams in this class and they have some very good players as well. Choosing a preseason, All-state team for this level was a very hard task. However, I believe we have what we deem as some of the best of the best in Class B. Here are the players we feel comprise the preseason, All-state team for Class B.

1st Team

Izabella Cross (5'6" | 2025 | Hicks)

Cali Deal (5'11" | 2025 | Quitman)

Payton Herpin (5'9" | 2026 | Bell City)

Kaiya Miller (5'7" | 2026 | Negreet)

[player_tooltip player_id='588900' first='Tora' last='Savoy'] (5'10" | 2026 | Midland)

This first team is full of players who can play defense, play in transition, and score. [player_tooltip player_id='588900' first='Tora' last='Savoy'] is a mid-range assassin who can rebound and run the floor. At her size, she is a genuine mismatch for others trying to guard her. Izabella Cross may not be tall like other players. She has the heart along with the shooting and rebounding ability to be a difference on the floor. Kaiya Miller can score it with the best of them in this class. She can also create scoring opportunities for others with her talent. Payton Herpin can stretch the floor like no other in Class B. Her ability to turn steals into scores may see her average a lot of points this season. Cali Deal may be almost six feet but she plays like a guard. She is a triple threat who can attack off the dribble, spot up, or post.

2nd Team

Brooklyn Bryant (5'6" | 2025 | Anacoco)

Addison Hollier (5'7" | 2027 | Lacassine)

Jodie Jowers (5'10" | 2025 | Oak Hill)

[player_tooltip player_id='668592' first='J'Nasura' last='Richardson'] (6'1" | 2025 | Florien)

Jayde Wilbanks (5'10" | 2026 | Hicks)

The second team has some talent that may be seen by the sportswriters as first team players by season's end. Jodie Jowers has the skill set to give teams fits this season. She can face up or shoot from the perimeter which will cause teams headaches. [player_tooltip player_id='588900' first='Tora' last='Savoy'] is a mid-range assassin who can rebound and run the floor. Another mismatch due to her skill set. Sophomore Addison Hollier is a spot up shooting assassin. She has a very quick release and is highly accurate from deep. Jayde Wilbanks is a shooting and rebounding machine for Hicks. She will be an integral part of Hicks getting back to Marsh Madness this season. Brooklyn Bryant is very good at stealing the ball and finishing in transition. Her defense creates extra opportunities for her team constantly. [player_tooltip player_id='668592' first='J'Nasura' last='Richardson'] is a talented big who is only getting better. She will definitely help Florien make another playoff run.
