2026 Glue Girls

These young ladies put in maximum effort to make their teams successful. They not only do the things that show up in the box score, but they also do the little things that do not show up.  Here I look at some juniors that excel at being Glue Girls. Carranza is coming off an injury, but the junior should be back to business as usual. She is accustomed to being the one that steadies the ship when things aren't going how they should for the Lady Jags. Bland comes out with a business-like approach to games. Usually whatever is needed of her from her team she comes thru with it. Whether it's a clutch shot, rebound, steal, or whatever she provides it for the Lady Tigers. Rose is the type of player that every coach loves. You don't really have to tell her what to do. Her instincts just kick in and she knows what her team needs to get them over that hump to be successful. Erin might not get some of the accolades that come to her teammates but when she is called upon, she seems to always be ready. She knocks down the shot when it's there and she plays very solid defense. Hurd has one objective when she is on the court and that is to win. She plays multiple positions for the Lady Wolves and has her hands in much of their success. It can be on offense or defense, and she will find a way to impact the game.
