We have just finished the 3 classification previews and now we look at who are the contenders and who could be sleepers.

Contenders

Copper Hills

The reigning Region 2 Champ is looking to get another crack at a State championship as they have one of the deppest teans and one of the more heavy senior laden teams as well. [player_tooltip player_id='788192' first='Skylie' last='Barker'] and [player_tooltip player_id='789127' first='Ayla' last='Marston'] are the two headliners on the team but they are not the only players that can help this team win. Barker is a slashing guard that does not lean on one particular skill were you can stop her. She does a little bit of everything and she is one of the best available prospects in her class yet to commit. Ayla Marson is similar in the fact that she has size and can really get downhill. Her defense creates easy offense as she can defend anyone on the floor.

Then you have players like [player_tooltip player_id='788318' first='Aspen' last='Fraser'] and [player_tooltip player_id='922382' first='Ella' last='Creer']. Fraser is solid attacking the rim and in the midrange area. Fraaser brings a lot of physicality to the floor and she plays with a high motor. Creer is a new player added to the team as she came over from Nevada. She also brings size and scoring ability. Just with these 4 alone CHHS could be very tall and versatile.

[player_tooltip player_id='848843' first='Taylor' last='Johnson'] is another player that can protect the rim and rebound. Her presence in the paint could be crucial. CHHS has a few other players and shooters in the fold.

Lone Peak

[player_tooltip player_id='796745' first='Kennedy' last='Woolston'] is set to have a huge statistical year. If you have not seen her in action you are missing the growth of her game. Woolston is going to be a double-double threat every game. Her rebounding and scoring will take center state as she will be the leader of this team. Her shooting will spread the defense and it will open a lot of opportunities for her teammates. [player_tooltip player_id='796473' first='Zuri' last='Nordstrom'] is a player that could easily breakout this season. She was huge for them last season in the playoffs and this year she looks faster and stronger. Her ability to work with her back to the basket is actually impressive for a guard.

[player_tooltip player_id='849040' first='Lave' last='Holdcraft'], Maddie Pope and [player_tooltip player_id='873282' first='Charli' last='Warner'] are three instant contributing players. Holdcraft will do the little things and Warner and pope will be similar but they pack more of a scoring punch. Lone Peak will have a short bench but every player that gets in will have a major role.

Skyridge

This team has 4 players that will likely play at the next level starting with [player_tooltip player_id='789122' first='Merceius' last='Mili']. The lengthy wing can play anywhere on the floor. Mili can score at all three levels. She is a 3 at the next level but will likley be at the top of the press to use her mobility and wingspan to get tips and touches. [player_tooltip player_id='788316' first='Bella' last='Sika'] has that PF strength and skill but can also put the ball on the floor and score. Lilian Meyer is a two way guard that defends and can also score. Meyer has wiggle and will be tough to stop.

[player_tooltip player_id='789079' first='Ella' last='Oeser'] is going to be on a revenge tour and she has looked solid this Fall. They have a few more pieces that could be big time difference makers.

Sleepers

Davis

The Darts have reloaded and they are doing it with shooting a little bit of size here and there. The Darts will be lead by big time PG T'Maea Eteuati. This girl is an absolute bucket. She brings that pick your poison style of play. She is very under the radar but she is a D1 talent. [player_tooltip player_id='827408' first='Kate' last='Willard'] will be a new name you hear of some more. Kira Zwonitzer is another player that you will hear of a lot. They are littered with shooters and some size.

Mountain Ridge

MRHS likes to play fast and they like to shoot. They have a patented 1-2-2 that they run and if you are not ready they could speed you up. They have shooters in [player_tooltip player_id='790536' first='Kya' last='Newton'] and [player_tooltip player_id='805788' first='Kaylee' last='Montgomery']. [player_tooltip player_id='866703' first='Jada' last='Jangard'] can shoot the ball very well as well as a few others that play. [player_tooltip player_id='805789' first='Cailin' last='Kehl'] is solid as a W/F and [player_tooltip player_id='796847' first='Jessica' last='Maynard'] is underrated with the things that she does and her motor.

Syracuse

The titans have size, a few shooters and if they are locked in their zone they could make it really frustrating for other teams. [player_tooltip player_id='796823' first='Maylee' last='Anderson'] is a knockdown shooter that can hit from anywhere so if you do nit tracker she will make you pay. Rachael McBride is an obscure talent. Mainly because she doesn't play for a prominent AAU team. McBride could be a sleeper find for a NJCAA school. Her size andl ength could be used wisely and she could be a rim protector and shot eraser. They have a few other post players that are going to be tough to stop if they get deep position.

We have just finished the 3 classification previews and now we look at who are the contenders and who could be sleepers.
