Below are 5 proven hoopers you can expect to have huge senior seasons and cement their legacy!     Lauren led Gardena in scoring as a junior. The next two leading scorers were seniors. Gardena will rely on Lauren even more for the 2024-2025 season. As a versatile wing, she is at her best making tough shots inside the arc. Good length and athleticism have prompted great efficiency from the field. If Lauren can improve her free throw shooting, expect impressive outings in the scoring department. She is a hidden gem who plays the right way and produces in all facets of the game.     Kinidi has loads of potential and can do-it-all on the court. She has next-level size and athleticism, combined with natural guard skills. Kinidi competes on both ends til the end. Defensively, she's shown the explosiveness and instincts to lead a press or guard the paint. Offensively, she can score off the dribble and facilitate. She utilizes spin moves, jab steps, etc. to create separation. Kinidi scores at all three levels and finished second in scoring for a deep Hamilton squad. Jade shoots the ball with the utmost confidence and has a beautiful follow-through. She can excel in both guard spots, offensively and defensively. She is able to finish against bigger defenders in traffic. Her smooth, cerebral approach keeps the defense guessing. As a slasher and spot-up shooter, Jade is one of one.     Despite dropping 50 against Monrovia High, Kayla's junior season did not get the proper recognition! She is extremely versatile, with high major skill and length. Kayla averaged almost 15 rebounds per game a season ago, leading her school to a 26-5 overall record. Her touch and quick-twitch nature at that size is rare. She had 15 twenty point scoring games last year, and is somehow underrated and underappreciated. Expect monster numbers from Kayla this year, and continued success for South Pasadena.      Jay'la should be on your radar immediately, no if ands or buts. She averaged almost 10 rebounds per game last year at 5'9. She plays with tremendous effort, leading her squad in points, steals, and blocks per game. Jay'la impacts the game tremendously, even when she doesn't have the ball. Her consistency was impressive, with only two single-digit scoring games. Expect Jay'la and George Washington Prep to flourish this year with more experience and chemistry.
