<p>The 2024-25 season for girls' high school basketball is in full-swing. Which means the class of 2028, for the most part, is now seeing their first action at the varsity level. With that being said, there are some freshmen prospects who saw the court this past season as eighth graders. Those few individuals established themselves as rotation pieces and in some instances, focal points of their respective teams.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Martinez is an intriguing shooting-guard that is fundamentally sound. The now Freshman gives great effort on both ends of the floor, hardly taking possessions off. Additionally, Martinez has a good feel and pace to her game. </p>

<p>Martinez is a capable scorer that can get red-hot and score in bunches. That said, Martinez does a good job of not forcing things and playing within the flow of the game.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">The leading scorer among the 2028 class this past season, Dopson put up an impressive 11.0 points per game for the Sundevils. On top of that, Dopson finished with the second most made three-pointers, totaling 37.</p>

<p>Dopson's ability to stretch the floor opened up driving lanes for herself and teammates in 2023-24. Nevertheless, Dopson is a perimeter threat that opposing teams must respect from behind the arc.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Lobato was a pleasant surprise this past season for the Bears and made an immediate impact posting 7.7 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.0 steals per game. Furthermore, Loabato totaled 19 treys this past season on 33 percent.</p>

<p>The 5'5" point-guard was a viable threat in catch and shoot situations but also displayed the ability to score off the dribble. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Schow is a budding forward comfortable operating from the mid-range but can also step-out and hit the 3ball. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">This past season, Schow averaged 2.9 points on 67 percent with 1.6 rebounds in 27 games played. Moreover, the 5'10" forward managed to make five three-pointers for Albuquerque Academy in 2023-24.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Brown mainly operates inside the paint-area for the Chargers and is often the recipient of broken plays in the half-court. However, If Brown improves her touch, she has the potential to be a force in the interior in the coming years. </p>
