ND Class A – Region 1 Preview – Wahpeton Huskies

She averaged 20.9 points per game to go along with 7.7 rebounds per contest. She is an unbelievably powerful athlete with impressive quickness. She has a tremendous ability to draw fouls and shoots a good percentage from the free throw line. She has a good first step and is also able to hit the mid range jump shot. Her athleticism is very impressive. She is able to drive downhill hard to the basket, particularly to her right. She is the second leading returning scorer at 9.8 per contest and returning leader in assists. She has good feet and a soft touch around the rim. She is looking to expand her range going forward and has the tools to become a good outside shooter. She has excellent footwork for her age and a big frame to work with. I am impressed with her coachability and her soft touch on her shot. She has good shooting form and will continue to develop as she progresses through high school. She is a good defender and rebounder and can be a key contributor to the Huskies. I predict them making a strong run towards the state tournament.
