Five teams in the Skyland Conference last season finished with 20 or more wins, a potential sign for even better competition and excitement this season. Within that, there were some fantastic perimeter shooters, some who have left, but some who are coming back or coming into the conference that we're going to shout out below.

We're starting off with a bang in Hillsborough senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='583701' first='Francesca' last='Schiro'], an incredible shooter and one of the most effective in the conference by far last season. Knocking down a career-high 77 threes, more than double that of her previous career-high, she shattered the glass ceiling for herself, scoring more than 20 points a game offensively and knocking down more than 2.5 threes a game in the process.

[player_tooltip player_id='525559' first='Charlotte' last='Taylor'] - Somerville (2025)

We continue the trend of players coming off career years by going over to Somerville and senior [player_tooltip player_id='525559' first='Charlotte' last='Taylor'], who did just that with her scoring and perimeter shooting numbers. Across the board, she improved significantly, but her three-point shooting really stood out as a part of her game that she found a way to refine. Easy does it type of shot with a quick release and effortless finish, something able to be replicated.

[player_tooltip player_id='525482' first='Carlie' last='Gubitosi'] - Belvidere (2025)

There's a dynamic duo at Belvidere that fans should definitely keep a look out for this season, starting with senior [player_tooltip player_id='525482' first='Carlie' last='Gubitosi'], coming off a strong campaign as a junior. Career-highs across the board and significantly improved three-point shooting. She became a more aggressive player down low and from the perimeter, a move that's helped her productivity tremendously.

[player_tooltip player_id='601339' first='Natalie' last='Sroka'] - Belvidere (2026)

While Gubitosi is finding her stride toward the end of her high school career, Sroka has already found it across her first two high school seasons. That's really an understatement when you look at what she's been able to do so far with nearly 100 three-pointers and 1000 points heading into her junior year. Sroka has been a revelation to watch on the perimeter and will continue to do so.

[player_tooltip player_id='333347' first='Kadie' last='Fleming'] - South Hunterdon (2025)

South Hunterdon is a very top-heavy team, much of that coming from the success of [player_tooltip player_id='333347' first='Kadie' last='Fleming'], and while we'll see how the depth of the team shapes out this season, Fleming is destined for yet another fantastic year with the Eagles. Her production skyrocketed as a junior, averaging more than 20 points a game while posting career-high marks with threes. Very impressive to watch on the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='525474' first='Hailey' last='Bentz'] - Manville (2025)

Right now, Manville has a solid 1-2 punch heading into this coming season. It begins with forward [player_tooltip player_id='1048727' first='Sadie' last='Fleming'], who averaged a double-double as a sophomore and ends with [player_tooltip player_id='525474' first='Hailey' last='Bentz'], another forward, but someone who's lights-out from beyond the arc. That's an understatement for her as she nearly doubled her career three-point totals just as a junior, knocking down two a game.
