In our continuing look at the upcoming high school girls basketball season in New Jersey, we head to the Skyland Conference as we've done before to talk about some high-octane shooters and scorers. There's plenty of talent across this conference and this article is just a small portion of that, though these players are stars, no doubt about that.

[player_tooltip player_id='525473' first='Mia' last='Gestosani'] - Mount St. Mary (2025)

Gestosani has a big task on her hands this season as the leading scorer for Mount St. Mary is without teammate Rachel Castela in the backcourt. That's a lot of production that will need to be made up as she'll undoubtedly be asked to carry the load, having done so already. This is a player that's risen to the occasion many times, someone that's a fantastic perimeter shooter and great scorer overall.

[player_tooltip player_id='601336' first='Nikki' last='Costantini'] - Hunterdon Central (2026)

Hunterdon Central finds itself in an interesting situation heading into this season as some impact seniors have left the program. There's still plenty of talent currently to be able to carry the torch, players like [player_tooltip player_id='601336' first='Nikki' last='Costantini'], who led the team in three-point shooting as a sophomore despite being the third-leading scorer on the team. We're expecting her production to rise significantly as a junior.

[player_tooltip player_id='835932' first='Alexa' last='Regan'] - Immaculata (2027)

It was hard to pinpoint just one player on Immaculata, so we decided to show some love to two players, first starting with sophomore forward [player_tooltip player_id='835932' first='Alexa' last='Regan'], who showed out as a freshman. Really impressive numbers out of the gates, both offensively and defensively. Not often, at least from what we've seen in New Jersey, to find a two-way player in a defensive threat and effective perimeter shooter, of which Regan does both well.

[player_tooltip player_id='871528' first='Caroline' last='Duffey'] - Immaculata (2026)

From Regan, we head over to her junior teammate, [player_tooltip player_id='871528' first='Caroline' last='Duffey'], not the first person you'll think of on this team as there are some bonafide studs on the roster, but someone you'll undoubtedly find out plenty more about upcoming. Three-point shooting is her specialty and she does it incredibly well as we've seen over the course of last season. Significant jump from essentially a bench player to a true starter in Year 2.

Angela Tremarco - Bridgewater-Raritan (2025)

It's safe to say that Bridgewater-Raritan struggled mightily last season, just a 5-20 record overall. This is a young team, however, with a lot of budding talent and a lot of players vying for just a few spots on the court. One player we know has her spot solidified is senior Angela Tremarco, a strong leader at the top of the key that's blossomed into a piece to build around on the floor. With time has come immense success.

[player_tooltip player_id='414401' first='Taylor' last='Francis'] - Pingry (2025)

Pingry was the class of the Valley division in the Skyland Conference last season, thanks in large part to a strong Class of 2025 duo that dominate both the frontcourt and the backcourt. [player_tooltip player_id='414401' first='Taylor' last='Francis'] is the guard in that equation, a balanced, yet effective piece that has shown her three-point prowess throughout her career in bunches. Equally great passer and defender while being a vocal leader on the floor and on the bench.

Ali Leibensperger - Voorhees (2025)

Just as Voorhees senior [player_tooltip player_id='601342' first='Madie' last='Petak'] was leaving the program in the spring, another shooter will be able to not only "step" into her place, but make her own mark on the program. Ali Leibensperger actually hit more threes per game last season than her teammate Petak at just under 1.75 per game. She's increased her offensive production, and production across the board, significantly over just one season.

[player_tooltip player_id='879741' first='Meredith' last='Dufner'] - Warren Hills (2025)

Warren Hills will be an interesting team to follow this season without some impactful seniors in the mix. Players come and go, which means others will need to step up and help fill the void. [player_tooltip player_id='879741' first='Meredith' last='Dufner'] already made her mark as a junior, but her senior season will be one that many will be watching out for. Great composure on the floor, high maturity level and an incredible deal of confidence in herself and her game.

[player_tooltip player_id='601337' first='Aletha' last='Reynolds'] - Bernards (2026)

Bernards is a young roster filled with players who will be making their impact on the floor upcoming, players like [player_tooltip player_id='601337' first='Aletha' last='Reynolds'], who really broke out as a sophomore , leading the team in scoring, rebounding, three-point shooting, blocks, assists and steals. Just across the board, she was the go-to for this team, but she'll have plenty more support around her as a junior as those players have more experience under their belts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1048684' first='Aliza' last='Schulberg'] - Montgomery (2026)

Disappointing year for Montgomery, hovering around the .500 mark throughout before finishing two games under the mark. While it was disappointing, there are things to be happy and excited about upcoming, first starting with junior [player_tooltip player_id='1048684' first='Aliza' last='Schulberg'], one of the leaders on the team alongside sophomore Sophia Lehmann. Dynamic duo we'll be seeing from those two, but Schulberg is much more of a shooter of the two.
