The common sentiment was gratitude for their families but below are their individual responses.

We are thankful for elite scorers and trend-setters such as LSU commit [player_tooltip player_id='370329' first='Bella' last='Hines']. The 5'10" combo-guard etched herself in the NM history books this past season, recording 2000+ points for her career. If that was not impressive enough, the now senior signed a multi-year NIL deal with the Jordan Brand. The deal announced earlier this month made Hines the only active high school player signed to Jordan Brand!

When answering, Hines said, "I am most thankful for my family." As for her favorite dish, it is "candied yams." Hines and ABC-Prep will be in Las Vegas, Nev. for the weekend (Nov. 29-Dec. 1) associated with the 'Grind Session.' An international prep basketball circuit.

Secondly, we are thankful for players with the right mentality and work ethic. For [player_tooltip player_id='828810' first='Caris' last='Dale'], "I am most thankful for my family because of how much they support me. Through thick and thin, the good and the bad days, I know I can always lean on them for encouragement and guidance."

The junior from Farmington had trouble deciding her favorite dish. "[That's] very difficult [to answer] because I love to eat. [My] top three has to be ham, mashed potatoes & gravy, and any kind of dessert." Dale and the Scorpions open the 2024-25 season on the road against Durango on Dec. 3

Next, we are thankful for inside-out playmakers. Hobbs senior and NMHU commit [player_tooltip player_id='458556' first='Brynn' last='Hargrove'] said, "I'm most thankful for my family," and her favorite dish is, "my grandmas tamales." Hargrove and the Eagles currently sit at 1-1 and will face Lubbock-Cooper on Saturday.

Lastly, we are thankful for tenacious defenders who pick up full-court or 84 feet. Such defender exists in [player_tooltip player_id='458557' first='Catalina' last='Anaya']. The senior point-guard's most thankful for "my family and for the love, support and opportunities they give me." In terms of favorite dish, Anaya said, "my moms stuffing and ham." Anaya and the Sartans will travel to Los Alamos to clash with the Hilltoppers on Dec. 3
