On defense, Sy is an outstanding deterrence that gets to roam in or around the paint. She closes out well for someone her size and is a major factor on the weakside for boards. Tacko slides her feet well too; she isn't a liability on those possessions where she finds herself connected a ballhandler. Altogether she has this sense of reliability to her game.
