Goddard broke out of the starting blocks with a boom and seems to be gaining momentum. The senior has led her team in scoring and field goal percentage so far this season. This talented combo guard averages 19pts a game with her ability to score from outside. She's shooting 40% from 3 and is a huge threat when left open. Versus Garrett Memorial on Dec. 3rd, Jaclyn finished with 18pts shooting 70% from the field. This student athlete has grit and determination that will be key in The Lady Knights' season success. Versus Gospel Light Christian, Goddard really showed how great of player she is with excellent shooting while being guarded. The guard ended up dropping 18. I'm excited to see how the season goes for this one.

A pure scorer who can get her shot from anywhere on the court. #5 has a lot of talent and she's just getting started. Ford had an incredible start to the season dropping 46pts in a season opener loss to Blevins on Nov. 15th. She was very impressive in that game with dribble moves and counters to create space for herself. She's a slasher who can pull up from mid-range consistently. She has good defense and is credited to her athleticism. Delaney followed up that performance with 22pts versus Foreman and 27pts versus Oark, shooting 100% from 3. She's going to get better at her shot selection and overall game as the season continues. This junior guard has the work ethic and drive that will see it through, Keep an eye out for this one.

Dollar had 20 pts, 4 rebs, 4 stls, and 2 asts in Acorn's season opener win at home vs Mulberry. The sophomore guard followed up that game by averaging 12pts a contest in Acorn's Classic Tournament. This 5'6 guard can play! Josey has great scoring ability and high basketball IQ. She can penetrate the lane and draw defenses to her on a regular basis. In her stocking she has floaters, mis direction, and counter moves. As a great spot up shooter, she loves to drive, and that's a tool in her game that will continue to separate her from her peers. For instance, she caught a pass in the corner for 3, the defender anticipated a drive, but she took the shot and as the defender reacted to it, fouled her for a 4pt play! She's keen on making defenses over commit and that comes from being a constant slasher. Dollar, younger sister to Daisy, had 21pts and 3stls versus Mt. Ida, including the 4pt play I mentioned! You heard it here 1st and keep a close eye out for her. Her shot is money, and Josey's game is filled with "Dollars"!

#4 has range, and standing at 5'9, it's difficult for players her size to guard her. Stewart, a [program_tooltip program_id='712659' first='Mavs' last='Elite'] team member is also Pulaski Academy's leading scorer. Randi can shoot 3's from 26 ft with ease and knows how to get to her spots on the court. This sophomore guard can run like a gazelle and is graceful with her speed. She has a high IQ, by getting 6 stls in one contest this season. Her offense is also starting to take off, and she has topped her scoring out puts each time she stepped on the court so far this season. With 9pts in the season opener to going for 15 in the 2nd game, and then putting up 18 twice after that, shows her maturity as a young player. The Lady Bruins' guard is scrappy and long, while averaging around 3 steals a contest. She hit a 28ft 3 pointer and headed back down on defense only to get a steal and take the ball to the basket for another quick 2! Really athletic and strong! Creating space while dribbling and counter moves should develop over time. Randi is a talented player that will make noise in Arkansas girls' basketball this season.

This hidden gem tops the list for December players to watch! Thrasher is an all-around guard with next level potential. The class of 2028 is going to be exciting, and Jensen has a lot to do with that statement. She does everything 100% and leaves her heart out on the floor every time she steps off. A player who goes left or right with in and out dribble move or an in between hesitation that glides her pass her defenders. She creates space like a pro. Jensen and [program_tooltip program_id='715977' first='AAO' last='Flight'] won the 15U Championship this past summer and she's carrying that energy into her debut season! She was impressive versus LRC and will only get better with time. Jensen has offers from Central Arkansas, Illinois State, and Kansas. Her potential is at a high level and a continuous work ethic will polish her game. Getting quicker with her transient speed and reaction time will develop. The more experience she's having, she will embrace it. With a name like [player_tooltip player_id='1090896' first='Jensen' last='Thrasher'], it sounds famous, and her game is gaining her fame in Arkansas girls' basketball.
