<p>The senior guard stepped up for the Cardinals, hitting timely shots beyond the arc vs the Huskies this past Tuesday. Martinez had a game-high 20 points which included six made three-pointers.</p>

<p>In the 47-32 win at Hope Christian, Viarreal put up 16 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 steals. The senior sharp-shooter went 5/9 from the floor overall, 3/7 from deep and made 3/4 free-throws.</p>

<p>Schmidt, a multilevel scorer, had 18 points and 4 steals vs Monument Valley in a 44-32 loss on Thursday. The next day, the sophomore combo-guard followed that up with 14 points and 3 steals in a bounce-back win vs Shiprock, 48-28.</p>

<p>Grants cruised to a 80-44 win vs Zuni thanks to 24 points and 5 steals from Martinez. The freshman point-guard only missed two field goals (FG: 10/12) on Tuesday night for the Pirates. Talk about being efficient!</p>

<p>It was a solid outing for Salazar who posted a smooth 20 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals vs Zuni. Furthermore the senior power-forward shot 58 percent from the field and 75 percent from the foul-line.</p>

<p>Abby Pavia | Albuquerque High | 2029</p>

<p>It was a solid two-game stretch for Pavia who scored at least 15 points in each game this past week. The skilled 8th grader finished with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 steals vs Sandia Prep on 12/12. Two days later on 12/14, Pavia had 16 points @ Del Norte.</p>

<p>Pacheco had a quiet 13 points -- on 50 percent -- and 6 rebounds for the Bulldawgs who fell just short to the Broncos, 59-55. The senior also made her lone three-point attempt and both her free-throws on Thursday.</p>

<p>Winters tallied 15 points and 5 rebounds vs Santa Fe this past Tuesday. The junior was able to score out on the perimeter (3P: 2/3) while also getting to the charity-stripe (FT: 5/6).</p>

<p>Lightfoot posted a huge Triple-Double vs Reserve on Thursday with 18 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. At that point, the Cardinals advanced to 4-1 on the year.</p>

<p>It was a fantastic week for Dyer who was under consideration for POTWK at the 5A level. The junior shooting-guard averaged 18.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists for the Bears who went 2-2 during week 3. </p>

<p>Although the Longhorns lost both games in Week 3, Rose was still a bright spot for Logan on both ends of the floor. The junior guard finished with a game-high 22 points, 5 rebounds and 5 steals against Tucumcari on Friday night. Rose then had a team-high 19 points and 5 steals @ Boise City on Saturday.</p>
