The next day, the sophomore combo-guard followed that up with 14 points and 3 steals in a bounce-back win vs Shiprock, 48-28.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1233320' first='Demi' last='Martinez'] | Grants | 2028</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Grants cruised to a 80-44 win vs Zuni thanks to 24 points and 5 steals from Martinez. The freshman point-guard only missed two field goals (FG: 10/12) on Tuesday night for the Pirates. Furthermore the senior power-forward shot 58 percent from the field and 75 percent from the foul-line.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Abby Pavia | Albuquerque High | 2029</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It was a solid two-game stretch for Pavia who scored at least 15 points in each game this past week. The skilled 8th grader finished with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 steals vs Sandia Prep on 12/12. At that point, the Cardinals advanced to 4-1 on the year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='648191' first='Jordyn' last='Dyer'] | La Cueva | 2026</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It was a fantastic week for Dyer who was under consideration for POTWK at the 5A level. The junior shooting-guard averaged 18.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists for the Bears who went 2-2 during week 3. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='893556' first='Desta' last='Rose'] | Logan | 2026</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Although the Longhorns lost both games in Week 3, Rose was still a bright spot for Logan on both ends of the floor. The junior guard finished with a game-high 22 points, 5 rebounds and 5 steals against Tucumcari on Friday night. The sophomore went 5/11 from the field overall, which includes going 1/1 from distance.
