<p class="text-gray-700">In Week 2 of the 2024-25 season, Las Cruces went 2-1. The Bulldawgs averaged 53.6 points per game led by Quinones' efficient 15.3 points. The senior guard shot 53 percent from the field overall, scoring the rock at multiple levels. The off-ball movement of Quinones was also impressive, especially in the screen-game. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">After starting the 2024-25 season with back to back losses, Valencia has now won 3 of their last 4 games.</p>

<p>A primary reason for the bounce back, is due to the play from [player_tooltip player_id='391108' first='Jadyn' last='Montoya']. The senior averaged 19.2 points on 42 percent with 3.5 steals per game during the four-game stretch. Moreover, Montoya went a staggering 23/27 from the charity-stripe for the Jaguars.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Pacheco led West Las Vegas to an undefeated week, going 4-0. The senior reached double-figures in each outing and twice totaled 24 or more points. The 5'4" point-guard averaged a commanding 21 points and 6.7 rebounds, logging one Double-Double in Week 2.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">During Week 2, Eunice senior [player_tooltip player_id='467054' first='Aleena' last='Rodriguez'] averaged a smooth 16.6 points per game. Rodriguez, the Cardinals All-Time leader in three-pointers made, entered the week with 193 treys. After three games in 2024-25, the 5'7" small-forward now sits at 200+ for her career.</p>

<p>Rose, the only non-senior to earn POTWK Honors, put up 19.6 points per game while shooting a whopping 64 percent from the field. Additionally, Rose was fantastic on the defensive end of the floor as well. The junior guard averaged 5 steals for the Longhorns who went 2-1 on the week. </p>
