Franklin's leading scorer was solid in her first season for the Sabers. Pritchard has been a reliable offensive option for a program trying to re-establish an identity after a senior class that appeared at two state tournaments in their four years at Franklin. Pritchard has had the ball in her hands most of the time, drawing defense attention. As a young guard, results have varied, and that's okay. However, Pritchard has done a solid job dealing with the attention some older and more experienced programs have thrown at her. She'll keep improving in time.

McFarland is another program starting over after their 2023 and 2024 classes powered the Spartans to a state tournament appearance in 2023. Ganshert has kept things simple, but she's been productive working within the Spartan offense. Ganshert has scored the ball well within the three-point line this season and has been a consistent threat for a young McFarland team. She's finished strong around the basket and shown a willingness to defend around the basket. Ganshert has some toughness to her.

Every year, some players slip through the discourse of the state because they aren't on teams competing for state but have plenty of talent. McCain is in that situation in the 2028 class. McCain is around 6'0 and has athleticism with that size. The Knight has been Nicolet's most intriguing two-way player this season. Her ability to defend around the basket has led to multiple blocked or altered shots, and she's spaced the floor and knocked down some threes so far this season. There's plenty to like about what she does. McCain is worth keeping tabs on in the 2028 class.

The Bay Port post has been a welcomed addition to the Pirates rotation. The 6'0 forward is a physical presence around the basket and balances out what the Pirates do offensively. Her physicality also allows Bay Port's wings to defend on the perimeter and not get beaten up under the rim by opposing posts. Thompson is among the leading rebounders in the FRCC this season and has helped Bay Port win the rebounding battle in competitive games. She's got solid touch, which will continue to develop as she gains more experience.
