<p>In the feature game of the event, Lift for Life defeated Principia 47-39 in a showdown of state-ranked No. 1 teams in front of a packed house. Lift for Life is ranked No. 1 in Class 5 while Principia is ranked No. 1 in Class 3.</p>

<p>The Hawks sprinted to a double digit lead, then held off Prin's second half rally. Leading the way for Lift for Life was 5'6 2026 guard [player_tooltip player_id='488377' first='Zha' last='Harris'], who had 14 points, eight rebounds and six assists. In addition to her scoring, she did a masterful job of orchestrating the offense with her playmaking. Standout 2027 guard [player_tooltip player_id='777605' first='Amaya' last='Manuel'] added 10 points. Principia was led by 6'2 2027 forward [player_tooltip player_id='791650' first='Dasia' last='Scott'], who finished with 23 points and 16 rebounds. She had a big third quarter to bring the Panthers back from a 10 point deficit to a tie game at the end of the quarter.</p>

<p>Cardinal Ritter broke open a competitive game in the second half to take a 71-41 win over a young a talented Hazelwood West squad. The Lions pressure defense took its toll as they took control in the second half.</p>

<p>Ritter got a team high 18 points from 5'11 2026 forward [player_tooltip player_id='734458' first='McKenzie' last='McCann'] who continues to improve her skill level. She also added nine rebounds. The Lions also got 12 points from 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='493372' first='Alanah' last='Howard'] and 2027 Nylah Scales. Making a big contribution off the bench was 5'9 2027 forward [player_tooltip player_id='493459' first='Madyson' last='Ford'], who had eight points. 2025 point guard [player_tooltip player_id='344798' first='Daijah' last='Jones'] played a tremendous floor game with six points, nine assists and six steals.</p>

<p>Hazelwood West is a young team on the come up with three 2028s in the starting lineup. Young shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='1039529' first='Jamiah' last='Herring-Green'] broke loose from the pressure to score 16 points. She is a talented three-level scoring. [player_tooltip player_id='1039469' first='Ava' last='Wilson'] is a 6'3 2028 post player who is a strong player in the paint with a bright future.</p>

<p>The host [program_tooltip program_id='715458' first='Greyhounds' last=''] controlled the game from the outset to take a 61-48 victory over Vashon. The Hounds were led by 2025 guard [player_tooltip player_id='1020869' first='Taylor' last='Miller'] with 18 points. She did a lot of her scoring around the basket. A pair of 5'11 forwards who had productive games were 2026 Genevieve Roach and 2027 Avery Rotskoff. Roach scored 14 points while Rotskoff added 10 points.</p>

<p>Vashon has a solid pair of perimeter players in 5'9 2025 Kiera Burns and 5'6 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='1235341' first='Chase' last='Hardieway']. Burns is a talented wing player who can create off the dribble and score in the mid range area. She scored a game high 25 points. Hardieway is a speedy guard who scored 17 points. She's quick and she can shoot the 3-pointer.</p>
