The Berlin wing is one of the more active kids in the state. She's listed at 5'8 but plays taller than that. She's routinely been a double-double kid and has the motor that's allowed her to outwork kids with more size than her. That alone has always been impressive, but she's developed each year at Berlin and become a more well-rounded athlete. As her team has needed her to do more, she's always found a way to do it even though teams focused on her more and more. She'll continue her career in NAIA at Judson University in Illinois.

A kid who's making the most out of her final season is a Beloit Memorial guard. Richardson is an undersized kid who has found ways to make things happen as a 5'3 guard. The Purple Knight has improved as an outside shooter and has been a threat to put the ball in the basket when she touches the ball, and she shows no fear when she wants to attack the basket. She has the mental fortitude to get up after getting knocked down, and her teammates respond to her.

There are some programs schools should recruit for different things, and every school should look at Oshkosh West for defensive prospects. Rasmussen is the latest in a recent line of kids who've played high-level defense at the college level, like Paige Secker and Brenna Gehri, who each have impressed in their first seasons in the WIAC. Rasmussen is from a slightly different mold, but her defense gets her on the floor for the Wildcats, and she's done a solid job being a productive defensive forward for the Wildcats.

The Loras commit is getting an opportunity some of the best players in the state haven't gotten to put her stamp on a program. Kids have broken records and left their mark in that way, but the way that Morgan plays has become Grafton's identity this season. They're a small and scrappy group of underdogs with the talent to compete with some of the top teams in D2. They may not have a record that jumps off the page, but the Black Hawks are getting better and will be a team that gives everyone fits in D2, and it's because they all play like [player_tooltip player_id='338957' first='Marissa' last='Morgan']. The future Loras guard does some of everything for Grafton and will have them at their best in the postseason.
