New Names from Tipton Shootout

Prep Girls Hoops Missouri had the opportunity to watch the games from the Tipton Latham Bank Shootout, which was held at Tipton High last weekend. The event featured a number of very good players from the small schools. Here is a look at some New Names of players who caught our attention at the event.    A 5'8 2027 guard who had a big game in a 56-35 victory over Northwest. She really got her team rolling with 16 first-half points. She's a good athlete who used her speed in the open court. She was good when she got two feet in the lane and she hit open shots from 3-point range.     A 6'1 2025 forward who puts in plenty of work around the basket as a scorer and rebounder. She's aggressive and her activity level was high. She was strong on the offensive boards and she could score with either hand. She was effective on the drive from the perimeter.     A 5'9 2025 forward who did a lot of impressive work in the lane. She's would attack from the perimeter and hit a nice runner or hit the defender with a spin dribble on the way to a layup. She was also posting up well and displaying some good footwork.     A 5'6 2025 guard who is a solid ball handler and an efficient offensive threat. When she got the time and space, she would drain the open 3-pointer. She also attacked the close out to hit a 10-footer off the dribble. She also used her speed in the open court.     A 6'0 2025 wing player was was very effective on the perimeter with her height and playmaking skills. She sees over the defense to make pinpoint passes and she has shooting range from 3-point distance. She also used her height to go inside and score in the post.     A 5'7 2026 guard who is a solid player who brings good fundamentals to the talented Cardinals squad. She handles the ball well and she keeps it moving with her excellent passing. She will also step up and hit the open 3-pointer.
