<p>Led by their junior trio, Lovington defeated Tatum 69-50 on Dec. 2. [player_tooltip player_id='648207' first='Ashelynn' last='Borunda'], a 5'9" shooting-guard, had a team-high 19 points, while [player_tooltip player_id='648231' first='Abigail' last='Shouse'], a 6'6" center, logged a monster Double-Double with 18 points and 15 rebounds. Lastly, 5'7" combo-guard [player_tooltip player_id='648194' first='Malaiya' last='Castro'] chipped in with 14 points and 8 assists.</p>

<p>Despite the 64-53 loss at home vs Los Lunas, Holyan did all she could to keep PV in the game. The skilled senior posted a team-high 18 points to go along with 8 rebounds. In all, Holyan went 5/11 from the field and 8/8 from the charity stripe.</p>

<p>On Thursday, Jaramillo asserted herself on both ends of the floor, ultimately recording a Double-Double for Coach Vigil. The senior combo-guard finished with a game-high 23 points and 10 steals! Additionally, the speedy Jaramillo had 5 rebounds and 2 assists for the Tigers in their 11-point road win at Piedra Vista.</p>

<p>Cordova, who had a team-high 14 points on 5/9 shooting, helped the Hornets get the 60-22 win vs AHA this past Friday night. When the 5'2" combo-guard is knocking down shots, the Hornets become a tough squad to contain the the half-court.</p>

<p>Cleveland cruised to a 28-point victory over Capital which saw junior [player_tooltip player_id='1221604' first='Danae' last='Elzy'], finish with a team-high 12 points, 8 rebounds and 2 steals. The 5'6" small-forward has been solid for the Storm thus far in 2024-25.</p>
