Every week during the high school season we include all of the player milestones we're aware of in our weekly recap. The number of remarkable career achievements of late is unprecedented, so this week we're giving them their own space beyond our usual Week That Was feature. We also seem to be tossing accolades on a regular basis in the direction of 2026 standouts [player_tooltip player_id='252381' first='Maddyn' last='Greenway'] of Providence Academy and [player_tooltip player_id='205310' first='Tori' last='Oehrlein'] of Crosby-Ironton, generational talents ranked #1 and #1a in the Prep Girls Hoops Class of 2026. Last week they became the third and fourth players in Minnesota history to reach 4,000 career points, joining 2025 guard [player_tooltip player_id='252379' first='Addison' last='Mack'] of Minnehaha Academy and 2014 graduate Rebekah Dahlman of Braham.

Oehrlein hit the 4,000 mark on Tuesday night with a 42-point performance in a lopsided win over East Central. The University of Minnesota commit followed that up on Friday with a quadruple-double, recording 34 points, 15 rebounds, 11 steals and 11 assists against Aitkin.

Mack and Oehrlein were scheduled to play on Saturday night in Crosby in Minnesota's first-ever matchup of 4,000-point scorers. The gym was packed and the atmosphere electric in anticipation. Unfortunately the Maryland signee missed a second consecutive contest with a case of the flu, or whatever else it is that has been sweeping through high school teams of late. In Addi's absence, Tori posted 40 points and 12 rebounds as the Rangers scored an 85-65 win over the Redhawks. Given that Mack is a senior, the only other possible meeting between the two all-time greats would have to be at the Class 2A state tournament in March... until Maryland meets Minnesota in the 2026-27 Big Ten season.

Greenway isn't far behind Oehrlein's torrid scoring pace. The University of Kentucky commit entered Saturday's contest at the Breakdown Community Clash needing 23 points to reach 4,000. She seemed a little nervous in the early going – Maddyn even admitted to the jitters afterwards – but soon got on track. She scored the milestone bucket on a layup just before halftime. Greenway finished the game with 38 points in a convincing 101-68 win over St. Michael-Albertville on their home floor.

The Lions' victory extended their season mark to 19-0 and their winning streak to 30 games dating back to last February. Maddyn also had a 41-point game during Week #11 in a win over Jordan. Including her 51-point performance Jan. 7 against Minnehaha, Greenway has now topped the 30-point mark more than a dozen times this year and is averaging over 32 points per game.

REACHING 2,000

Saturday also included a notable milestone for top-ranked senior [player_tooltip player_id='205298' first='Jordan' last='Ode'] of Maple Grove, who reached 2,000 points for her career. The Michigan State signee achieved the feat in a 29-point performance against Minnetonka as the Crimson extended their season record to 17-2. Reaching 2,000 is a rarity for players whose teams face the highest level of high school competition in Class 4A where the opposition tends to be more formidable than in Class 2A and 1A where the majority of scoring records are set.

According to state high school records guru Matt Pederson, recent graduates to top 2,000 career points include 2023s Tessa Johnson (STMA-South Carolina) and Ashlynne Guenther (Duluth East-Bemidji State), and 2022s Mallory Heyer (Chaska), Lilly Meister (Rochester John Marshall-Indiana), Callin Hake (Chanhassen-Nebraska) and Ronnie Porter (St. Paul Como Park-Wisconsin)

Remarkably there were two more players who also reached the 2,000 career points mark during Week #11 as both [player_tooltip player_id='478362' first='Morgan' last='Korf'] of Pelican Rapids and [player_tooltip player_id='498658' first='Morgan' last='Mathiowetz'] of Sleepy Eye-St. Mary's hit the mark. Korf is a the 16th-rated junior in Minnesota; Mathiowetz is only a sophomore who's ranked #11 in the PGH Class of 2027. Her sister Madison Mathiowetz also reached the 2,000-point mark, accomplishing the feat as a junior. She's in her third year at South Dakota State.

MORE MILESTONES
While the accomplishments of Greenway, Oehrlein and Ode captured most of the attention over the past few days, those three weren't the only players to reach a career milestone during Week #11. Here are several more.

[player_tooltip player_id='498662' first='Jadyn' last='Kor'] became the all-time leading scorer at Pipestone (Section 3AA) located near the South Dakota border in Southwest Minnesota. The 5'10 guard, who holds the #36 ranking in the Prep Girls Hoops Class of 2026, set a new standard for the Arrows with 1,493 career points and counting.

[player_tooltip player_id='595564' first='Abby' last='John'] became the all-time scoring leader at Barnesville (Section 8AA), located 30 minutes southeast of Fargo-Moorhead. On Friday against Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton, John topped 1,800 career points. The top 40 senior has committed to MSU-Moorhead.

[player_tooltip player_id='346166' first='Autumn' last='McCall'] of Centennial had 35 points and 16 boards on Jan. 24 in a win over Andover to become the Cougars' all-time rebounding leader. There have been some terrific rebounders at Centennial over the years including 2017 graduate Sarah Grow (UM-Duluth) with 733, 2019 grad Sara Stapleton (Wisconsin) with 714, 2018 graduate Sydney Stapleton (South Dakota State) at 660, and 2021 product Jenna Guyer (currently at UW-Green Bay) with 615. McCall is a top 10 prospect in Minnesota's senior class. She has committed to the University of St. Thomas.

[player_tooltip player_id='520263' first='Bra'ja' last='Torry'] of Eastview broke two Lightning career records last week for assists and steals. 2018 graduate Emma Carpenter (UM-Crookston & Winona State), currently an assistant coach with the program, had the career assists record of 364. Earlier in the week Torry had 7 steals in a win over Lakeville North giving her 245 for her career. She passed the great Madison Guebert (South Dakota State) at 245 for her career. Torry is a top 40 senior who has yet to announce a college commitment.
