Division 2 State Tourney Round 1: Game Recaps + Standouts

I decided to catch 4 teams in the Division 2 bracket that I haven't had the chance to see this year. By pure chance I was able to see a huge upset and an extremely disciplined and talented squad that could make some noise as the playoffs. Tight handle, quick first step and always attacking with vision. Showed ability to get down hill with both hands + comfortable finishing with both. Seems to always make the right pass, and get eyes up early to find one more. Displayed a very smooth euro in traffic, and head on a swivel to find teammates as she drives. Incredibly impressive vision for a player her size. She threw multiple full court passes, and showed the ability to look and skip over defenders in bad positions. Works hard on the block + very nice tough around the basket. She is an absolute problem to keep in front in the open floor, does a great job getting downhill! Tight handle, always on go, can finish around the rim + floater. High energy player, creates second chances with her athleticism. Super active hands on defense. Alyssa was getting downhill at will in MK's dribble drive style offense. She displayed big guard characteristics, very strong with the ball + will push with intent and vision off a defensive board. Relentless driver with a very nice quick cross over to change direction. High energy / High motor player.
