<p>These were the top 5 State Championship performances of the girls from the North. They didn't all win, but each one left it all on the court and their efforts didn't go unnoticed by the fans that followed them all year. None of these performances are a surprise as every young lady on this list was a leader for their respective team all season.</p>

<p>Annie did a little bit of everything in the states, and she led her team to the Group 1 Championship with a 42-36 win over Glen Ridge. In the championship game she finished with 18 points, 2 3-pointers, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. She capped off a junior season that saw her go over 1,000 career points with a Union County title and a Group 1 title. In 6 games in states, she averaged 19+ppg, 9rpg, 3+apg and 2+spg. She had a 31-point game against Thrive Charter in the Central Group 1 Sectional Final and also had two double doubles.</p>

<p>Though her Madison team fell to Manasquan 47-34 in the Group 2 Championship for the 2nd straight season, there is no debate that Charlotte is the main reason they got as far as they did. The American University commit finished her career just with 2,498 points which is 20th all-time in NJ girls history and also had 1,147 rebounds. In states, she scored 21 or more in every game with 2 games over 30. She had double doubles in her last 3 games including a monster 26-point 20 rebound effort against Caldwell in the North 2 Group 2 Sectional final. She finished the championship game with 25 points and 13 rebounds, and, for states, she averaged, 27+ppg, 11+rpg and 3+spg.</p>

<p>Anaya and her West Orange teammates came up just short in a battle for the Group 4 Championship with a 55-52 defeat against Hillsborough. The North Carolina A&T commit finished the game with a 23 point 16 rebound double double and also had 3 blocks and 2 steals. She finished her career with 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds and had 28 double doubles in 34 games this season while also leading her team to an Essex County Championship. For states, she averaged 15+ppg, 11+rpg, 3+bpg and 3+spg. She also had a 13 point, 13 rebound, 11 block triple double in the North 1 Group 4 Sectional Final.</p>

<p>Morris Catholic continued their dominance in the state of New Jersey with an undefeated season that culminated with a 3rd straight state championship. They won the Non-Public A Championship with a 54-44 win over previously undefeated Paul VI. Mia finished the game with 15 points, 2 3-pointers, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. For states, she averaged 12+ppg, 2 3-pointers per game, 6+apg and 4spg including a 13-point 10 assist double double against Paramus Catholic. She finished her career with 2,143 points, 289 3-pointers and 587 assists. Twin sister Mya was the leading scorer in the championship game for Morris Catholic. She finished with 21 points, 2 3-pointers and 5 rebounds. She saved her best 4-game stretch of the season for last as, for states, she averaged 20+ppg, 3 3-pointers per game, 5+rpg, 3+apg and 2+spg. She also had a double double against Paramus Catholic finishing with 22 points and 10 assists. Her career ended with 1,559 points and 158 3-pointers and this duo will be headed to play basketball at Tennessee next season. </p>
