Saturday, Prep Girls Hoops, in partnership with Lansing Community College, hosted the first ever PGH JUCO Showcase. The event was intended for interested collegians from Junior Colleges (and other schools) looking to showcase their talents in front of 4-year colleges & universities to potentially earn an offer/roster spot. This is the second of three articles, and this will focus on the 8 ladies from the "Detroit Shock" named team. A couple of players moved around throughout the event, but below is the original roster.

#20 - Olivia Robinson, Freshman, 5-4 PG, Southwestern Michigan College
- Olivia is originally a graduate of Hononegah High School (IL). She has good strength at her size, she plays with a quickness or shiftiness to her, and she can put pressure on a defense with her penetration. She has some touch from the perimeter, so you must respect that and can't completely sell out to the driving lanes. I also liked her effort at the defensive end of the floor.

#317 - Cierra Harris, Sophomore, 5-8 SF, Owens Community College
- Cierra was the 2022 NJCAA D3 National Player of the Year, in addition to other regional and conference awards. She is a strong, physical forward who plays bigger than she is. She likes contact, she's a solid athlete, and she absolutely battles each possession. She graduated from Sylvania Southview High School (OH) back in 2020 and is looking for her next opportunity to play.

#536 - Nave'yah Knott, Freshman, 6-0 C, Macomb Community College
- Nave'yah graduated from University High School in Ferndale (MI). She is very intriguing, and I think her best years are still ahead of her. She is long, wiry-strong, active, athletic, and bouncy. She plays with a nice motor and looks like she's trying to do things she has been coached. As she gets more reps and learns to play with more physicality, she could be a good one.

#608 - Amari'a Campbell, Sophomore, 5-7 SG, Delta College
- Amari'a was one of the most active players on the day, and it seemed like she was involved in the action at all times. She is a strong athlete, she likes to get downhill and attack the basket, and she has a really nice mid-range game. I feel like she'll produce more consistently as she plays a little more on-balance. She is a graduate of Bay City's Central High School (MI).

#629 - Nevaeh Cable, Sophomore, 5-7 SG, Schoolcraft College
- The Toledo Start High School (OH) graduate was one of the more enjoyable players to watch yesterday. She has nice length, a real shiftiness to her, and she is a playmaker with the ball in her hands. She has a scorer's mentality and can make shots at each level or simply get to the rim. I just felt like all in all she has a natural feel for the game and can improvise on the fly.

#926 - Kara Bartels, Sophomore, 6-3 PF, Lansing Community College
- Kara is a two-time Michigan Community College Athletic Association Western Division Player of the Year and a 2024 NJCAA 2nd Team All-American. She is extremely long and wiry, fluidly athletic, and bouncy. She loves the mid-post where she can shoot the 15-footer or drive it, plus she has touch from the perimeter and at the rim. She graduated from Zeeland West (MI).

#927 - Laia Albas-Ferrer, Sophomore, 5'6 PG, Lansing Community College
- Laia is a graduate of Potterville High School (MI) and was maybe the steadiest player all day. She is solid with the ball in her hands, she initiates the offense well, and she was always head-up looking for open teammates first. She showed some touch around the perimeter, and she played with a nice motor. She could step in and be a disciplined, high IQ floor general.

#933 - De'Mour Watson, Sophomore, 5-10 SF, Marian University Ancilla
- De'Mour is a long, bouncy athlete with good body control and the ability to score/finish in a variety of ways. She was 2nd in NJCAA D2 in scoring (24.2p) and 8th in rebounding (13.1r) in 2023-2024 before an injury. She returned this season to earn Region 12 & MCCAA 1st Team honors. She can defend '2' through '4' and play '3' & '4' offensively. She graduated from Elkhart H.S. (IN).
