'26 Class New Additions: Rising Stars in Junior B-Ball Rankings

Within the junior class, there were a lot of new additions to the rankings. With 451 names mentioned, it was kind of hard not to have any new names. This year, especially, the ‘26 class came out and did work. A lot of girls rose to the forefront because it was their time to shine.   The hardest thing about being a part of the ranking system is discovering new additions. Why, you might ask? Not all information is consistently accessible. A lot of kids get noticed by default. You could be scouting one player, and another player jumps on your radar. Either way, finding new prospects to add is always fun.   Here are some new additions to the 2026 rankings.    Athletic kid who has found her footing. Multi-sport athlete who gets after it on both ends of the floor. She can knock down the 3-ball, get to the paint, but playing on the defensive is one of her biggest attributes. Coming to TKA this season, she created a role for herself, and it showed especially during postseason play. Her confidence is up, she's having fun, and I can see her playing an even bigger role next year. Look for her to ascend up the rankings this upcoming season, but this was a great addition to the Lady Lions program.     Another big who got it done in the paint. You just can't teach size, and she was a problem down low for teams. Had a nice bag of back-to-the-basket moves, was on the boards on both ends, and blocked shots. Solid kid who will see her minutes increase next season. Along with that, look for her to have a solid year and gain the eyes of collegiate coaches.     Solid addition to this program as she got after it on the defensive end. This kid plays with a motor, and locking up the opponent to create havoc is what she does best. She brought the pressure, making the other team feel uncomfortable. Advantage Southside cause that pressure led to easy buckets going the other way. Look for her to have a tremendous offseason and gear up for a longer postseason run this coming year. She will be one of the leading catalysts to help them do so. Solid kid with a bright future.     Solid kid who contributes all across the board. Scoring, rebounds, assists, steals, she checks every statistical category. She's solid from all levels and plays the game hard, using her size to her advantage. She's battle-tested and will continue to get better and push the envelope. She's not done growing as a player, and this offseason, look for her to put in major work as their squad gears up to make some noise this upcoming season. Solid talent that is going to take off next year.     Solid big who can handle the rock. She can step out and knock down the 3-ball consistently, but also create around the blocks. She's big time on the boards and gets her fair share of blocking shots. You can tell she is comfortable on the floor and knows when and where to pick her spots. She's athletic, moves well, and creates mismatches throughout the course of the game. Look for her to take her game to the next level. With the amount of work she is putting in, she's going to be a steal for coaches at the next level.
