Relentless rebounder who ATTACKS the glass. Several 15+ rebound performances. <strong>Krysta</strong> moves well without the ball. Solid, reliable hands off the drive-and-dish. She can even step out and hit the open jumper. Her recovery is very impressive on the defensive end. Quick hands and feet make <strong>Krysta</strong> the total package as a defender. Solid understanding for keeping the ball high on offensive rebound putback attempts. <strong>Kailea</strong> had a 15 point, 29 rebound, 8 steal performance early in the year. Special ability to generate steals and deflections at that size. Other notable performances: 10 points, 24 rebounds, 10 blocks; 26 points, 23 rebounds, 5 steals, 4 blocks. <strong>Kailea</strong> has great timing as a shot blocker. Multiple games with 5 or more assists, rare for her size and position. <strong>Ruby's</strong> long arms force turnovers. She uses her frame well on both ends. The power forward had back-to-back games of 8 and 7 steals each. Quick-twitch athlete with plenty of athleticism. <strong>Johanna</strong> has length, strength, balance, coordination, speed, and everything else you look for in a versatile big. She gets off the floor fairly quickly. She can even go coast-to-coast with the ball from time to time. <strong>Johanna</strong> pursues loose balls quickly and aggressively. Her best game of the season came in a close 2pt victory vs. Sonora High School: 36 points (only missed 2 shots), 17 rebounds, 4 steals. <strong>Johanna</strong> has the athleticism to guard players on the wing. She can even hit the open jumper when she has a rhythm.
