CVP Showcase(Middle School):High School Ready 2029/2030 Prospects

This showcase provided an opportunity for some of the top middle school and high school players from the Central Valley and beyond to showcase their talent. Early in the day I was able to catch the Middle School All Star games, and was impressed by the effort and level of skill. Has a nice handle, quick first step + very productive step back jumper. Showed a nice hesi + quick behind the back to create space to shoot or blow by defenders. Attacks with purpose and eyes up in transition. She attacks the basket with no fear and is a lightning bolt in transition! Her ability to score in bunches and take over a game was on full display, as she scored 27pts and secured the championship game MVP. Active and tenacious on ball defender. Shows early signs of ability to be a three level scorer: displayed productive post moves / soft touch around the basket, a fluid looking short jumper, and the ability to knock down an open 3. Very crafty around the basket + very nice spin move going both ways. Her skill level is already well beyond her age. Already has good size and isn't afraid to drive through contact. Does a good job pushing off a rebound + making the correct decision. She's already learned to use her length and athleticism to create deflections, steals and speed up her opponents. She runs the floor with purpose, has good hands and can finish on both sides of the basket.
