GACA All-Star Game Standout Guards

The Emmanuel-signee buried a handful of threes, knocking down at least four. Azeltine is ready off the catch and has deep range. If defenders try to cheat out to take away her three, she is a quick athlete that can get to the rim in a blink. She uses her pull-up jumper from the mid-range to her advantage. Azeltine's activity on defense gives her value at the next level. Jesstynie is so smooth with the ball. She is a swift athlete who makes things look easy. Her burst of speed downhill is tough to slow down. She finishes with both hands and has court vision to create for others. Scott's a stat sheet stuffer with her motor. Longwood is a getting a good one. James was a sparkplug, using her speed to dart around the floor. Mia is a bundle of offense. She pushes the ball at an elite pace. She's a threat to go coast-to-coast, kick to open shooters or pull-up herself. MJ's court vision is impressive as is her three-point shot. Defensively, her ability to stay in front of ball handlers negates her lack of size. Effort is what made Haney standout. She played extremely hard on both ends of the floor. Malia competed as an on-ball defender, a scrappy guard who could stick with the best of the best, making them work for every bucket. Malia took no plays off. On offense, she didn't force the issue and got her points within the flow of the game all while managing to create for others. Skye hit some early threes and saw her confidence build. The 3&D wing has interest from multiple college levels. Her size on the perimeter along with her streaky stroke make her one of the better prospects still available.
