The 2025 travel season is roughly a month old. With the arrival of the first live period, that is when attention to AAU basketball really ticks up.

More attention is being paid to Iowa's girls basketball scene the past few years – and this means that programs such as [program_tooltip program_id='712595' first='Kingdom' last='Hoops'] – which is based in Des Moines – have a bit more of a higher profile than it may have had recently.

Four of its teams were in Wisconsin recently to take part in the Windy City Classic during the live period. One of those teams was its 17U Bluestar team. Here is a look at the roster that has been assembled.

Brooklyn Fromm – Fromm gives a presence to Decorah-North Winneshiek on this year's [program_tooltip program_id='712595' first='Kingdom' last='Hoops'] 17U Bluestar roster. Listed at 5-foot-10, she can give a team productive minutes as either a three or a four.

[player_tooltip player_id='896069' first='Reese' last='DeVooght'] – DeVooght is very busy around this time of the year. In addition to playing her travel basketball for [program_tooltip program_id='712595' first='Kingdom' last='Hoops'] 17U, DeVooght is a two-sport athlete who also thrives as a softball standout.

[player_tooltip player_id='766456' first='Malaina' last='Hackley'] – We have already spotlighted Hackley on a pair of occasions over the last couple of months. Hackley was one of our stock-rising guards for March and one of our standouts that has embarked on great starts to the club campaign.

KeKe Walker – Another standout from Roosevelt that made this year's [program_tooltip program_id='712595' first='Kingdom' last='Hoops'] 17U Bluesky roster. She is listed at 5-foot-7 and thrives as a two guard. Walker played up in class with the 17U squad last year.

[player_tooltip player_id='502092' first='Brynlie' last='Hadenfeldt'] – Hadenfeldt has certainly garnered plenty of collegiate interest. Hood College, USHP St. Louis, St. Olaf College and Arkansas-Fort Smith have all extended offers in Hadenfeldt's direction.

Kenna Ledinsky – Another from Roosevelt who adds depth in the backcourt in either the one or the two. A 3-point shot is part of her offensive arsenal as well as getting out in transition. Ledinsky's defense also enables her to collect plenty of steals.

[player_tooltip player_id='656292' first='Zoe' last='Allen'] – Allen was part of a Williamsburg team that concluded the 2024-25 season with a robust record of 23-3. As she stands at 6-foot-1, her height presents a noticeable matchup advantage.

[player_tooltip player_id='1117324' first='Hannah' last='Overholser'] – Overholser was also looking to translate a stellar high school season with Norwalk into a great campaign on the club trail. Her Warriors team concluded the 2024-25 season with a record of 23-2.

[player_tooltip player_id='832214' first='Ava' last='Leichtman'] – As a 2027 on the 17U team, Leichtman is playing up in class. Her AAU career has included a stint with [program_tooltip program_id='712377' first='All' last='Iowa Attack'] Nike and she competes in the track and field space alongside her basketball achievements.
