The junior post and forward players from the Los Angeles Section made their presence known this season, showing that impact doesn't just come from the guard spots. These upperclassmen brought a standout variety to the floor—owning the paint, dominating the boards, and contributing key scoring numbers to push their teams forward. Whether it was grabbing double-digit rebounds night after night, protecting the rim with blocks, or using their size and footwork to score inside, this group proved how valuable interior presence is.    Rosales, a standout post player, led her team to a strong season with her dominant presence in the paint. She consistently put up points and grabbed boards, finishing the year with over 10 double-doubles—a true reflection of her multisport athleticism and relentless work ethic. Her ability to own the paint on both ends of the floor made her a key factor in her team's success. Defensively, she was active and physical, jumping into passing lanes and protecting the rim with confidence. Rosales not only scored and rebounded, but also made plays across the floor, proving herself as a dependable and well-rounded player heading into her final year.     Smith, a 5'10" power forward out of Woodland Hills, CA, had a strong junior season, averaging over 13 points per game with most of her production coming from tough finishes around the rim and a high volume of trips to the free-throw line. Her physicality in the paint allows her to draw contact and convert at the line, making her a reliable scoring option. Smith also put her long wingspan to use defensively, grabbing a couple of steals per game and showing off her ability to disrupt plays and create opportunities for her team. Her willingness to share the ball and play team-first basketball makes her a crucial piece, and with her size and confidence, she's ready to lead her squad into another winning season as a senior.     Jackson proved that height isn't the only asset that makes a dominant post player. As the center for Hawkins, she was instrumental in leading her team to a winning season, consistently putting up impressive numbers. Averaging 12 points per game, Jackson powered through defenses with sheer determination, never backing down even against taller post players. Her ability to finish strong in the paint and contribute consistently made her a key factor for her team's success. She's a tough, relentless player who shows that heart and skill can go just as far as size in dominating the post.     Gonzalez had a standout season as her team's power forward, showcasing her grit and strength in the paint. She consistently scored by powering through contact and finishing strong around the basket. Her ability to draw fouls and convert at the free-throw line was a huge asset, as she shot an impressive 75% from the line. Gonzalez's combination of power, determination, and accuracy made her a key contributor for her team, and her presence in the paint was invaluable throughout the season.     Lombera had a standout season, leading her team to a winning record as a junior. She averaged 11.3 points per game, totaling over 200 points on the season. While she's not afraid to take an open shot from beyond the arc, her true strength lies in the paint. Using her height to her advantage, she dominates over defenders and consistently cleans up the boards, adding key putbacks to her scoring. Lombera's presence in the paint was a driving force for her team's success this season.
