Victory Region Kickoff- 13U Standout Performances

These young ballers really put on a show this past weekend and they didn't take their foot off the gas! Take a look at the players who I think played their best!    When she gets the ball in her hand its almost going in the hoop automatically, her quickness and strength with or without the ball causes problems for the other team. If she can't get a shot to fall, she gets the ball to her teammates to score. Releases down the floor quickly and scores on fastbreaks. She puts pressure on the ball and keeps good body composure.     She has some fancy ball handling skills and can pull out shifty moves on her way up to the rim. She protects the ball at all costs and can even get out of trouble being double teamed. Great body composure when she goes to the rim to score and can shoot the deep shot. Attacks the baseline and sees her opposite post player on the block for two points. She has great energy and athleticism.     She did a fantastic job at relocating to the ball and being ready to shoot. She isn't afraid to let the rock fly from beyond the arc but also pulls out a nice shot fake to get her defender in the air so she can go score at the rim. When the game is on the line you can rely on this girl to score and make a big play happen. She makes communicating and putting the ball through the hoop look easy     She plays with high energy and such a positive attitude on and off the court, she uses her quickness to get the ball up and down the floor. She knows when to push the ball and doesn't force a shot to go in, she lets the game come to her. She comes off set screens and attacks the rim, even hits her free-throws when she makes contact going up to score. She can knock down the outside shot and has great court vision.     Her strength and power with the ball allows her to score on the block or take her defender to the rim, she keeps her head down and doesn't stop. Sets on and off ball screens while cutting through the passing lanes. She does a good job at slicing through her defender's face and always has a body on someone. Sees the ball and her operant and never loses sight of her defenders. When she gets to scoring buckets it's hard to stop her!     Alongside her sister if I am not mistaken, this duo gets the job done on both ends of the floor. Her quickness and reaction time is impressive. She uses her speed to run the floor in transition to score and is a big problem on the defensive end as she interrupts the passing lanes and picks your pockets out of nowhere. When she has a opportunity to score she takes it and doesn't disappoint. Very talented guard who takes care of the ball and has excellent handles.
