EOT/Sports Academy May Showcase : 2029 Standouts

This past weekend EOT (End of Trail) & Sports Academy put together a well organized NCAA viewing period tourney. With 5 courts going at once, it was a great opportunity to see a high volume of talent at one time! One of the best parts of AAU basketball is the opportunity for younger players to play up in older divisions and get impactful reps against bigger and tougher competition. These 2029 prospects featured not only played up this weekend, but also made their presence felt in a number of ways. Read more below to find out who these next up prospects are and how they play!    [player_tooltip player_id='1268751' first='Lucia' last='Khamenia'] is a name to remember and potentially one of the top 2029 prospects in California. Her 6'2 stature and ability to rim run and rim protect already put her in a position to be an impact player at Harvard Westlake next year. I was most impressed with her ability to put the ball on the floor and shoot from range. While she is still building consistency, she has a very fluid looking shot and showed the ability to create and knockdown from behind the arc. Communicates at a high level for a player her age. Very high ceiling!     Ella played in the top 17U division with no fear and was consistently on go looking to attack or find space for her 3Ball. Handles the ball well, can finish on both sides of the rim + in transition. Showcased deep range beyond the high school line, and tons of confidence to shoot the ball. Shows lead guard tendencies; is a 2029 PG to keep an eye on this summer and next HS season!     Faith jumped off the page both games I was able to catch due to her motor! She was always on go looking to attack, and to follow her own or others shots. Super tough, not afraid to drive and finish through contact. Harder worker on defensive, uses her athleticism and active hands to create chaos and deflections. High potential for stock to really rise as her skill develops!     Aaliyah is another C/F prospect that has the potential to be one of the top 2029's in California. She rim runs + works hard on the offensive end. I was impressed with her ability to fight for position, demand the basketball and utilize multiple moves to score. Big time rim protector + works hard to secure rebounds. The sky is the limit for her potential as she continues to get reps against high level competition.
