As teams across the country prepare for this weekend's upcoming live period, these girls appear to be ready for the brigh lights and the eyes of college coaches watching them. Most of these girls will head down the Garden State Parkway next weekend to showcase their skills at the Atlantic City Showcase and they are ready to go.

[player_tooltip player_id='559073' first='Grace' last='Feeney'] - NJ Rise 17U

Grace is an offensive weapon for a talented team. Similar to the 17U teams from [program_tooltip program_id='714654' first='NJ' last='Shoreshots'] and United NJ, NJ Rise is a bit undersized in the AAU world but that does not stop them. Along with several talented guards, Grace is part of what makes this team go. Her team battled Empire State P24 all day Saturday and nearly pulled off the upset. Grace scored inside and out. She has a confident and smooth stroke from 3. She gets to spots and is shot ready on the catch. A quick release and high release point make it tough to stop if you aren't close on the catch. She also showed some ability to put it on the deck and get to the rim where she showed off a nice touch on her floaters over Empire big [player_tooltip player_id='422276' first='Julia' last='Scott'].

[player_tooltip player_id='601517' first='Ava' last='Coyle'] - NJ Rise 17U

Ava is a crafty PG who does whatever her NJ Rise team asks of her on a given day. Against Books and Basketball P24, she controlled the tempo against a defensively aggressive backcourt and fed her teammates in position to score. Against Empire State P24, she handled the pressure defense and scored at the 3-point and also got to the rim off the bounce. She plays much bigger than her 5'3" frame and shows great poise running the show.

[player_tooltip player_id='1047095' first='Phoebe' last='Greto'] - Empire State 17U P24

Phoebe has a bit of a throwback game. At 5'11" she is very comfortable in the paint, banging on defense and playing with her back to the basket on offense. Against Philly Legacy and NJ Rise she played as an ideal complement to [player_tooltip player_id='422276' first='Julia' last='Scott'] inside. Phoebe doesn't try to do too much. She plays her role very effectively. She is at her best scoring from 10 feet in. She showed the ability to step out and hit open cutters as part of the Empire offense and she brings a toughness to the game at all times.

Madeline Zuppe - Empire State 17U P24

Madeline is a floor general that plays like an old school PG. On an Empire State P24 team that lacks a true backup PG, Madeline is often tasked with running the show in the most critical minutes of the game. At 5'4" she weaves through presses and distributes the ball through tight windows for easy buckets. Truly a pass first PG, Madeline is also quite adept at giving up the ball and spotting up. She hit 4 3-pointers vs Philly Legacy. She showed her toughness against NJ Rise. She went down with injury for several minutes before eventually returning to the game to help secure the victory for Empire State. On the defensive end, she will body up opposing guards and skillfully bump them off their driving line without fouling.

[player_tooltip player_id='601276' first='Analyse' last='Intenzo'] - Philly Legacy 17U

Analyse is a long athlete who uses her length to score at all 3 levels. Against Empire State P24 and NY Grit on Saturday she showed off her offensive arsenal. She gets to where she wants to go at her own tempo. She is confident handling the ball on the perimeter and can score over defenders with her size. Defensively, that length is dangerous as she can guard 2-4. She can get in passing lanes for steals and get deflections on the ball which lead to baskets for her team.

Myla Defreitas - United NJ 16U National

Myla is a dynamic guard. She can push tempo and get to the rim with speed and aggressiveness, she can distribute and she can step out and shoot it. All these skills were on display against [program_tooltip program_id='714728' first='Riverside' last='Hawks'] and MySky Elite. She plays with a fearless mentality and when she plays with pace her team follows suit. Myla is happy to make the extra pass or put it in the basket herself. Defensively, she took good angles guarding on the perimeter and was easily able to stay in front of opposing guards.

[player_tooltip player_id='601341' first='Sophia' last='Georgiades'] - United NJ 17U P24

Sophia went for double digits in the 1st half against NY Grit and Books & Basketball P24. She did it by turning steals and defensive rebounds into layups at the other end and also spotting up at the 3-point line and showing excellent catch and shoot skills off drive and kick and on inbounds plays. The BU commit can be a ball dominant scorer but has continued to work on her ball distribution and had several nice dimes including a no look drop off to [player_tooltip player_id='871374' first='Sophie' last='Lane'] for a layup. Defensively, she likes to take chances but a lot of them pay off and she is a willing rebounder on both ends of the court. Very few opposing guards can play at her tempo and with her energy.
