PGH Midwest Extravaganza: Friday Night Starting Right

Seems to like to be pass first with a quick step in either direction but she is also fast enough to sneak by almost anyone in front of her. Defensively, her mixture of awareness and smarts makes her a tough player to matchup with. She applies ample pressure on and off of the ball, usually leading to some bad choices in the grand scheme of things. She can post up with her size and use her force in the paint to do work but she seems really like to rebound and take things coast-to-coast. She did this a number of times on Friday night. One time ending the play in two free throw attempts and another ending the play with an AND1. After evaluating [player_tooltip player_id='1226755' first='Barriera' last=''] for a half, she is always the flying on the floor for a loose ball or trying to create contact while going toward the bucket for an offensive attempt. It's also important to note that she has a respectable ability to get herself all the way to the hoop. Doesn't really matter the situation, she just always seems to make that happen in one way or another. A major reason for their success was due to their fundamental start near the painted area on both ends. Someone who stood out for their balanced coordination, soft touch on the ball, and ability to keep the ball high is [player_tooltip player_id='1090009' first='Natalie' last='Clemente'] at their Forward position. She was catching rebounds high, not letting it drop below her shoulders and out-letting to a guard, leading got transition or she would rebound and have a put-back attempt of a score.
