Rankings Update: 2028 Players on the Rise

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With the next rankings update coming in the near future, here are some players who I think could be on the rise come the next update in the 2028 class.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>[player_tooltip player_id='985973' first='Fiona' last='Helms']</em></strong> - Holy Names Academy - Fiona has been killing it during the AAU season for NW Legends. She can play a variety of positions, being able to score from the wing or showcase her elite footwork in the paint. Has a high IQ for the game and understands how to pick apart defenses in multiple ways. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>[player_tooltip player_id='1052914' first='Jada' last='Duodu']</em></strong> - Mount Vernon HS - Jada is a strogn, physical guard who really knows the game inside and out. She handles the ball well, being able to handle tough ball pressure and double teams. She makes the right pass, finding her open teammates when the defense collapses. She controls the pace of the game smoothly too, forcing opposing teams to play at her pace.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1120486' first='Sami' last='Jones']</strong></em> - Arlington HS - Sami is going to continue to work her way into the Arlington offense and be a key member of the team. She plays elite defense, moving her feet quickly and making opposing players work for their buckets. Offensively, she displayed the ability to score the ball smoothly and be a threat from all 3 levels.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>[player_tooltip player_id='985965' first='Brailyn' last='Foster']</em></strong> - Chiawana HS - Foster is a well rounded player who is on the rise in the 2028 class. She contributed in a big way during her freshman year and will continue to be showcased more in their offense. She can score from all 3 levels with her strength, athleticism, and agility.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='985964' first='Ava' last='Valentine'] </strong></em>- Kentwood HS - Ava is a tough, gritty guard who knows how to attack the defense and find their weak spots quickly. She can attack with either hand, finishing at a high rate and having the confidence to go at anyone in the paint. She can shoot the ball efficiently too as she can stop on a dime and hit mid-range jumpers. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
