The PGH Victory Finals was a fun and tight-knit event with four courts rolling all weekend at the Champions Center. Today, we'll highlight some of the younger players who stood out to me in games I watched over the weekend in Appleton.

[player_tooltip player_id='888430' first='Leyla' last='Burkemper']

The Whitefish Bay native is another talented player in the Blue Dukes' ranks. Burkemper has proven to be a solid defender in her time with [program_tooltip program_id='713043' first='Wisconsin' last='Impact'] and has shown some offensive potential over the summer. The 2028 grads' calling card will be what she can do on the defensive end of the floor. She's an athletic and versatile defender who can defend multiple positions and understands how to guard in a five-player unit.

[player_tooltip player_id='874401' first='Farrah' last='Danforth']

The Neenah native is a talented kid who is a versatile wing. Danforth can play inside and out and has the physicality to compete against older competition once she puts on a Rocket uniform. I'm eager to see how she fits with some talent that has been around the Rockets program for a few years and has earned multiple regional titles and a silver ball over the last three seasons. She could be an excellent addition to a program on the cusp of breaking through their sectional again, assuming nothing changes.

[player_tooltip player_id='1223311' first='Quinn' last='Temperly']

Temperly was someone who stood out to me on what was essentially a two-game slot slate on Friday night. Temperly did a solid job using her speed to attack the basket and put pressure on the rim. The Southwest Wisconsin native also knocked down a few shots on the perimeter. The Platteville native plays for a talented Hillmnen program with a few older kids and should help them continue to compete for regional and sectional plaques over the next few seasons. Temperly will play a role in how these next few seasons go for the Hillmen.

[player_tooltip player_id='892938' first='Kinsley' last='Venden']

The Columbus native played the best basketball I've seen her play since I first saw her last fall. I thought she looked comfortable with her teammates and was looking to create for others. I thought she threw a few impressive passes into small windows, and even though her teammates couldn't corral a few of them, it showed me how well she sees the floor. Venden is a kid who had to hunt shots for her Columbus group last season, but I'm eager to see her try to create for others in the Cardinals program next season.
