Williams impressed me early because she not only rebounds but goes AFTA everything off the rim, on both ends. She plays the passing lane, but her "on the ball" defense was also solid. She attacked the basket strongly to finish after contact, oh yeah, she's "long and athletic"

Simmons immediately showed me she could apply heat baseline to baseline, and her "on the ball" pressure helped to create turnovers. She does things instinctively, like playing the passing lane, and even rebounded and went coast to coast to score. Her court vision is solid, plus she follows her shot

Steward is a "long and athletic" guard, I failed to mention that was the base earlier, but her first step was nice to attack the basket, especially when she dropped the FLOATA. Her body control after contact looked good, and she too played the passing lane

Hartman plays taller than her listed height, and she showed me a solid skillset, including giving me the "hands and footwork" I love to see. She scored around the basket, putbacks included, so yes, she rebounded on both ends. She's also "long and athletic" with some nice upside

Chatman was another "long and athletic" guard who stood out, starting with her being "heady" and being able to handle the ball under pressure. Her court vision looked good, so did her attacking the basket using a deceptive first step, but her timing also needs to be mentioned, as she blocked shots

Mears set the defender up nicely to attack the basket and finish using a slight HEZ to get whoever was guarding her off balance. Her body control on her finishes looked good, she made good decisions, and saw the floor, plus she defended hard

Reedy just goes hard and falls into that "you won't outwork me" category. She goes AFTA everything off the rim on both ends and gave me some nice moves to score around the basket. I was equally impressed with her court vision and she did a good job defending inside the paint
