I often sit back and reflect on what keeps me going, and seeing the energy and potential in the younger players coming up is part of it. Here ya go    Fray understands positioning as well as how to use her frame on both ends of the court. Understanding these simple things helped her not only outrebound taller players on both ends but also score around the basket, including putbacks. Her interior defense was also solid as she played up     Erb is an athletic guard who uses her athleticism on both ends of the court. Her "on the ball" stood out, as did her ball handling. Her crossover is ahead of her years, and watching her COD, change of direction, at this stage had me smiling as she scored or dished off the dribble, but she saw the floor well across the board and gave me the "catch and shoot"     Scott is tall, will probably be above "the magic number" which is 6'0, and she's also "long and athletic" which is the base. Her court vision stood out; she also scored around the basket, and she did a good job rebounding on both ends of the court. One thing that blew me away was her timing to block shots, especially coming from out of nowhere to do it     Hamilton falls into that #sizedontmatter group, and it doesn't matter because she can play. She gets the #THROWBACK hashtag for diving on the floor for loose balls, but she also brought intensity from the defensive end, which helped to create turnovers. Her court vision was solid, and she scored off the dribble     Ortiz was another athletic guard who already understands the importance of using her athleticism on both ends. She used a deceptive first step to attack and score, her crossover in transition looked good, so did her court vision, yet she also did a good job defensively, "on the ball" and played the passing lane     Brown has plenty of potential for several reasons, starting with her being tall as well as "long and athletic" yet she's already doing things fluidly and instinctively, like reading the floor and playing the passing lane while handling the ball afterward to score. She also scored off the dribble in the set and saw the floor     Harris is heady, plays within herself, and does the simple things that turn out to be big in the long run. She's long and athletic, which is still the base, and has a nice first step to score off the dribble. Her court vision was solid, and so was her defense     Clanin is also "long and athletic" but watching her rebound on both ends, as well as run the floor on both ends, told me a lot, yet she also did a good job defensively, inside and outside the paint. She played the passing lane and showed she could score off the dribble     Flemings is closing it out, and she not only wowed me "on the court" but was talking to me, and I told her I tweeted her "ceiling has no roof". I said, "You probably don't know what that means," and she responded, "I think I do, it means I will keep getting better and better" so there's nothing like having the mic dropped on you by a player yet to play in middle school. She's long and athletic and is showing signs of being able to take over games because her mid to long-range is clicking, she scores off the dribble and around the basket, yet her timing to block shots looks good, she rebounds on both ends, and her court vision is solid. Needless to say, she's one of the best 2031 players I have seen so far, and she will be a nightmare to defend
