This latest update saw several players leap in the rankings. Here are the players with the highest increases in their ranking positions:

[player_tooltip player_id='1180575' first='McKenzie' last='Flowers'] should never have been ranked at #42, especially after an all-state season with the Junction City Lady Dragons. Nevertheless, she is the highest riser in the latest ranking update, moving up to #22, but she may keep going higher in future updates.

Flowers was a star last season, averaging 20.4 points per game. Even as a freshman, she was setting the 2A-8 on fire. Not only was she Junction City's best overall scorer, but she was also their best shooter, having nailed 104 triples last season.

Flowers' freshman season ended in a loss to Ouachita, but she still had her team on her back throughout that game. She scored 24 points, which was almost half of her team's total points in the game, and she recorded 7 steals. The freshman guard hit clutch baskets after clutch baskets. Though the game fell out of Junction City's hands, Lady Dragon fans knew that Flowers was going to be their catalyst for the future.

[player_tooltip player_id='1180575' first='McKenzie' last='Flowers'] is a game you will hear more about as her career progresses. Go ahead and get on the hype train, though, as Flowers is already one of the best young guards in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='1219173' first='McKenna' last='Williams'] rose in the rankings after a solid freshman season with the Waldron Lady Bulldogs, moving to #34 from #53. Waldron graduated one of their best offensive weapons, so Williams' role in 2025-26 will increase.

Williams averaged 10.6 points per game during the toughest stretch of the year for the Lady Bulldogs: conference season. Though she is a solid scorer who knows how to finish inside, she is more infamous in the 4A-4 for her defensive abilities.

Williams averaged 2.4 steals and 1.7 blocks per game last season, leading the team in both categories as just a freshman. She played the passing lanes, picked pockets, and moved over on help-side defense. She proved she could stay with her defensive assignment, play hard for all 32 minutes, and have a nose for the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='1219173' first='McKenna' last='Williams'] is still underrated, but she could explode in 2025-26, asserting herself as one of the best two-way players in the 4A classification.

After an all-conference season with Rison, [player_tooltip player_id='1180574' first='Teairra' last='Miller'] is ready to take the next step up in her high school career. She turned some heads as a freshman, now she can light up the 3A-8 in 2025-26.

Miller seems taller than 5'3", but regardless, she is a tough inside-outside scorer. From the interior, Miller has shown just how physical she can be against players bigger than her. She does not back down from a challenge, going right up into contact and hanging just long enough to get her shot off. She appears to be in the air for a couple of minutes, then she finds a way to finish.

From the perimeter, Miller can hit the 3-ball effectively. Whether she is shooting off the catch or off the dribble, her shot is probably going to go in. She has a solid handle, allowing her to get to her spots on the floor with ease.

[player_tooltip player_id='1180574' first='Teairra' last='Miller'] is going to be a star for Rison, already making her move from #36 to #29 seem like a no-brainer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1197334' first='Abree' last='Patton'] made an impact on a loaded Bergman team as just a freshman last season. She moves up from #63 to #56, and she is probably not done rising just yet.

Patton found ways to contribute last season, including with her scoring. She put up 18 points against Melbourne during conference play in January. She continued to turn heads later in the season, scoring 14 points against Harrisburg.

On offense, Patton is at her best when she is moving without the basketball. She can get herself open along the perimeter and be in the perfect position to shoot the ball. Once a shot goes up from Patton, that ball will scorch the net on its way through.

[player_tooltip player_id='1197334' first='Abree' last='Patton'] is part of a large rotation of guards on a Bergman team that looks primed to make a deep run in the 3A playoffs. However, she could end up with a starting role after just one season of varsity experience.

Prescott's star [player_tooltip player_id='1202392' first='Rylee' last='Williams'] continues to rise in the rankings. She moves up 6 spots from #22 to #16, and now she is knocking on the door of the top 15.

As just a freshman, Williams became Prescott's star, earning some postseason honors after averaging 19 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals per game. She is a great shooter who can get going in a hurry from beyond the arc. Williams is also a great slasher who knows how to finish through contact.

On the other end of the floor, Prescott's young star is a fantastic perimeter defender. She moves quickly laterally, staying in front of her assignment and playing with active hands. She can pick pockets, deflect passes, and hound opposing ball-handlers for the entire game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1202392' first='Rylee' last='Williams'] is going to be an incredible player, one of the best in the state, especially at the rate she is going.

These players could potentially keep on rising, so make sure to keep up with these great players.
