2025 Last Chance Shootout: Top Paint Scoring Prospects

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>At the 2025 Last Chance Shootout hosted in Lebanon, Tennessee, players were showing off their scoring moves. A big chunk of these moves came from inside the paint. She was a good inside defender, their best rebounder, and was scoring in different ways on the offensive end. The lefty big showed she had a good feel for the floor. She did not force her opportunities. She waited for the right moment to find a gap to post up in. When given these opportunities, she had a solid touch around the rim. Arik's favorite shot down low is a baby lefty hook. She had clean footwork on the block and was able to make contested finishes. As well as her prowess in her offensive game, she did other things well. On one possession, she had a quick spin move past a defender that got her an open layup. On another possession, she missed a layup, and instead of getting discouraged, she kept playing. With her dribble moves and strength, she willed herself into the paint and scored on numerous occasions. Against the TBW 28 Gold Team, she scored several hard-earned buckets in and around the paint. But she also showed she could create scoring opportunities if need be. Her footwork for the position she plays is above average. With that, she was able to get to the rim often. There were multiple times she came swooping past defenders to grab an offensive board over the weekend. She would then generate good attempts in the paint off of these second chance efforts. This same tenacity translated seamlessly to the defensive end.
