Prep Girls Missouri takes a look at some of the Class of 2028 shooting guards/wings who caught our attention during the first session of the Run 4 Roses in Louisville, KY.

[player_tooltip player_id='784001' first='Jaelynn' last='Carter'] ([program_tooltip program_id='712484' first='Della' last='Lamb'] 17U Gold): A 5'10" guard from Oak Park who was playing up at the 17U level with the Della Gold squad and doing it quite well. The young lady can really shoot it from long distance. It's a nice smooth shooting stroke with no wasted motion. She also attacks the close out well with a very deliberate shot fake that lifts defenders and sets her on her way to the basket for a short jumper or an easy layup. She has a high basketball IQ and she anticipates well on the defensive end with her instincts.

******

[player_tooltip player_id='994770' first='Riha' last='Obinegbo'] ([program_tooltip program_id='712694' first='Missouri' last='Phenom'] 15U/Robinson): A 5'7" guard from MICDS who helped her Phenom team to a Platinum Division championship. She is a high energy player who has started to come into her own as an offensive talent. She will guard people and ball hawk with a lot of activity on defense. On offense, she is developing into a three-level scorer. She attacks the basket well and will hit the open perimeter jumper.

******

[player_tooltip player_id='907925' first='Kenzie' last='Keys'] ([program_tooltip program_id='948123' first='TC' last='Hoops'] 17U): A 5'8" guard from Saxony Lutheran did a nice job while playing up levels with the 17Us. The young guard from the SEMO area has a nice shot from 3-point range and she has the ability to get buckets with her opposite hand around the basket. She was scoring with her left hand inside or baby hooks shots and scoops in the lane. She also has a nice pull up jumper off the dribble in the mid-range area. It was very smooth.

******

[player_tooltip player_id='1261763' first='Arihanna' last='Wilson'] (Phee Elite 15U/Brumley): A 5'8" guard from Incarnate Word Academy who made a lot of things happen with her length and athleticism, combined with an active motor. She's very effective on the full court press when she was able to get deflections and steals to start the transition game. She was on the back end of many of those fast breaks with a layup. She can also grab the rebound and start the break herself.

******

[player_tooltip player_id='881137' first='Ealynne' last='Bostick'] ([program_tooltip program_id='715824' first='Columbia' last='Supreme']): A 5'8" guard from Centralia who displayed an impressive shooting stroke from 3-point range in the game that I watched. She made four in one half of play, which was very impressive as she shot it with confidence. She is also a tough young player who wasn't afraid to mix it up in the lane. She will hustle to go get a rebound or a loose ball.

******

Maci Andrews ([program_tooltip program_id='948123' first='TC' last='Hoops'] 17U): A 5'8" guard from small-school Neelyville who is an athletic two-way player and also playing up at the 17U level. She showed a good feel for the game on offense as she read the defense and made some nice cuts off the ball that led to her getting easy layups. She plays well in the transition game and she was also capable of hitting the open 3-pointer.

******

[player_tooltip player_id='899819' first='Jenna' last='Cox'] ([program_tooltip program_id='712694' first='Missouri' last='Phenom'] 16U/St. Joes): A 5'10" wing from St. Joe Benton who can impact the game at both ends of the court with her length and athleticism. She was using her wing span on defense to get steals and blocked shots on the perimeter. She also does a good job turning the corner on the drive and getting to the rim to score. She also elevates on her jumper as she can hit a nice turnaround in the lane. She played a lot of key minutes as a freshman on Benton's Class 4 state runner up team
