EOT NW Showcase: 2026 Standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Oregon City</strong> — Top talent from Washington to Northern California met at the End of the Trail NW Showcase over the 4th of July weekend. I visited five different locations in one day to watch Oregon teams from a variety of divisions and pools. I prioritized players I had not evaluated or seen in person yet. I chose the most competitive matchups when possible in order to see players perform under pressure. Bozeman made some strong blocks against Maurice Lucas Enforcers 17U at the End of the Trail NW Showcase, denying the driver in the paint and rejecting the shooter on the perimeter. She's a smart defender who closed out quickly to contest and boxed out to win defensive rebounds. Bozeman averaged 13.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.3 blocks, 1.9 steals, and 1.3 assists per game and was named Second Team All-Conference her junior season at Sherwood. Carns hustled back on defense to block the transition layup. She won tough defensive rebounds, pushed the pace, and brought the ball up herself to run the offense. Carns had nice drives and finished on both sides of the rim. She put in the extra effort to get the ball up for the and-1 as she was falling away from the basket. She pushed the pace and moved the ball around the perimeter with crisp two-handed chest passes. She made the pass inside or drove and kicked it out. She had nice footwork in the paint for the finish.
