Moriyah Douglass Commits to Texas Tech

The 6'4" rising senior made her announcement on her social media accounts on Thursday afternoon.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Douglass is currently No. 5 in the Prep Girls Hoops Missouri Class of 2026 rankings. She has received scholarship offers from more than two dozen Division I collegiate programs. She chose Texas Tech over schools such as Gonzaga, Marquette, Missouri, Arkansas, Houston, Boston College and several others.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Douglass was a Class 6 All-State selection as a junior after averaging 18 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks a game. As a sophomore in 2024, she helped the Bombers to the Class 5 state championship as she averaging nearly 10 points and five rebounds a game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Douglass comes from a talented basketball family in the St. Louis area. Her grandfather is Monroe Douglass, who is a former star player and Hall of Famer at Saint Louis University.
