<p>Dee Dee Newton ([program_tooltip program_id='712484' first='Della' last='Lamb'] 17U Gold): The 6'3 2026 forward from North Kansas City had a big performance in a win over KC Storm Elite. She is athletic and she runs the court with elegance. She was also blocking shots and rebounding out of her area. On offense, she displayed a nice spin move in the lane and she also stepped out and hit a 3-pointer.</p>

She used her speed to blow by defenders and her handles to break them down. She was either finishing in the lane or dropping off some nice dimes to open teammates. She is also a tenacious defender who hawks the ball.</p>

Her ability to create and knock down shots from all three levels was on display. Whenever the opposing team would make a run, she would slam the door with a dagger 3-pointer off the bounce. Even while playing up a year, she is an impact player at the 17U EYBL level.</p>

She has the ball handling skills and high basketball IQ to be an excellent playmaker. She used her height to score around the basket and she can also drive it and hit the 3-pointer, hence the matchup problems she causes. Her instincts on the defensive end are also on point.</p>

She is athletic and very aggressive in her driving pursuits to the basket. When she was able to get to her dominant left hand, she was hard to stop. She drove it aggressively, yet she finished with a soft touch on the runner.</p>

She already has a Division l offer from Saint Louis U.</p>

The young lefty is a physical player who powers her way through the lane to get tough buckets. She was also knocking down 3-points. The physical strength, combined with her skill set and being a southpaw makes her a very tough cover.</p>
