Statham has consistently been competing with, and beating some national level competition. With prospects ranging from 2027 to 2030, Statham is consistently playing up and providing opportunities for their players to develop and grow against the best competition possible. There is a number of under the radar forwards making an impact for this program; read below to check out who they are and what they do well!    Rim protector alert! Kiera is an impact post that can get it done around the rim + is a threat to stretch the floor from behind the arc. Displays good hands on the roll and ability to finish on both sides of the basket. Physical defender that defends without fouling and protects the basket (league leader in blocks as a freshman).     Makenzie is a developing 2027 to keep an eye to make a leap as a Junior! Rim protector (Top 10 in blocks in SoCal) that uses her size/length well + has impressive timing. Has shown soft touch around the rim + developing skills catching and scoring while on the move. Will pop and stretch the floor from behind the arc.     Emily is combo guard/forward that gets it done offensively in a number of ways. Bully around the rim that uses her size and physicality to find ways to score. Good feet in the post + recognizes when to expose a mismatch. 3 point threat that will put the ball on the floor and attack a bad closeout. Can guard multiple positions. Cleans up the glass + can start the break herself.     Brooke is a developing post prospect that shows the potential for a much bigger junior campaign. This summer with Statham her confidence and consistency has been growing on both ends of the floor. Impact player on the glass that finishes around the rim at an extremely efficient rate. Screens and rolls with purpose; comfortable shooting from 15. High ceiling as comfortability on the floor offensively continues to grow!     Alexis is coming off a stellar freshman year with Valencia and has been continuing to pick up 4 year interest. High motor, athletic forward that finishes well in transition and through contact. Big time rebounding threat + creates extra opportunities on the O glass with her length and effort. Has size and length to guard multiple positions at the next level. Potential wing prospect at the 4 year level; sky's limit as her shooting range grows.
