Top Scorers Returning in Region 1

<p>Region 1 will have a different look as Fremont has moved down to 5A and Region 1 will be one team short from the past season. The Region is wide open. Here are teh top scorers coming back from each team returning. </p>

<p><strong>Davis</strong></p>

<p>Willard averaged 8 PPG last season and she will be a double digit scorer next season. Last season she got off to a slow start and expect her to have a more consistent season this coming year. She made 8 three-pointers this past season, she could be a much improved shooter for Davis. </p>

<p><strong>Farmington</strong></p>

<p><strong>Makell Weber || 2027 || Guard ||</strong></p>

<p>Weber is a player that can quickly turn defense to offense as she is very active on the ball causing havoc. She does a good job gambling and recovering. Weber brings that tenacity. Look for her to turn defense into offense once again for Farmington next season. </p>

<p><strong>Layton</strong></p>

<p>Collier has the ability to really get to the rim and finish or get to the free-throw-line. She will need to step things up beyond the arc but she has a lot of potential to help her Layton team get better this coming season. </p>

<p><strong>Syracuse</strong></p>

<p>Anderson is one of the better shooters in the class and her lefty shot at times catches defenders off guard. Anderson is a zone buster and you can expect her to have more range this coming season. </p>

<p>Jugler could be a demanding player in teh post and by demanding I mean she could demand a double team. She has good footwork and is able to get to a pivot that gives her balance to score the ball well. She is going to be tough this coming season. </p>
