New Additions of Guards in Updated 2028 Rankings

Prep Girls Hoops Missouri released its newly updated Class of 2028 rankings. Here is a look at a group of guards and wings who are new additions to the updated rankings.    A 5'9" shooting guard who is part of the new wave of talented players at IWA. She is a skilled perimeter player who can make shots from all three levels. She is also an unselfish player who can make plays for others. She is also an aggressive player on the defensive end. She has already received a Division I scholarship offer from SEMO during the summer. She played for a talented Phee Elite 15U squad during the summer.     The 5'7 point guard is one of the fastest players in the SWMO area. She really excels in the open court and she can actually play the role of a one-girl press breaker at times. She also uses her speed and quickness very well on the defensive end with her ability to provide on ball pressure. Her emergence as a freshman was one of the reasons why Hillcrest had a surprising season in 2025. She played with the Stingers Basketball Association during the summer.     A 5'9" guard who is a talented young prospect in the SWMO area. She excels at multiple positions on the floor with his size and versatile skill set. She can dial it up from 3-point range and also attack on the drive. She is also comfortable as a primary ball handler as she does a good job of setting up her teammates. She played with J&E Elite during the summer.     A 5'6" point guard who is now at Centralia after playing at North Callaway during her freshman year. She has good quickness and she can really maneuver in the lane to get buckets in traffic with either hand. She also distributes the ball very well. She is also a good on-ball defender who moves her feet well and she can use her quick hands to disrupt. She had a strong summer while playing up a year at 16U for the Phee Elite COMO team.     A 5'8" guard who is an up and coming standout at Neelyville, which is one of the top small school teams in the SEMO area. She is a good athlete who excels in the transition game. She can also knock down open perimeter shots. During the summer, she played up two years with the [program_tooltip program_id='948123' first='TC' last='Hoops'] 17U squad.     A 5'5" point guard who plays with excellent pace with her speed in the open court. She can blow by defenders on the straight line drive or she can also change speeds and directions to keep them off balance. If left open, she is capable of knocking down the open 3-pointer. She played with the Phee Elite 15U (Brumley) squad during the summer.     A 5'3" guard who had an impressive summer playing with an excellent [program_tooltip program_id='712484' first='Della' last='Lamb'] 15U team that won multiple championships during the month of July. She is a solid ball handler, but she really excels as a perimeter shooter. She displayed a penchant for knocking down big 3-pointers in clutch moments of close games as well.
