Over 100 of the most dynamic players in the country were in the building for the EYG Skills Clinic, which has become one of the top national showcase around attracting top talent from all over the country. Great skill work combined with instruction and game play, here are some that really intrigued me during Sundays action.

Jaci attacks well even when being heavily pressured by the defense with confidence and determination. She showed the ability to change directions smoothly using quick crossovers and hesitation moves to maintaining solid control of her dribble in order to get to the basket. On the defensive end Jaci takes pride in her effort, moving her feet with discipline to stay in front of the ball handler and prevent easy drives to the rim. What reallystands out is her ability to finish strong at the rim, absorbing contact and still converting tough baskets.

Trinity was clearly one of the better players in the building, standing out not just for her skill set but also for the way she carried herself on the floor. While the pace of the game was often chaotic, with many players rushing and playing out of control, she remained calm and composed, showing maturity beyond her years. Trinity consistently made the right plays without forcing the action, letting the game come to her and making smart decisions in both half-court sets and transition. Her ability to stay poised under pressure gave her the presence of an upperclassman, and she set herself apart as a player who could stabilize her team when things got frantic. That combination of confidence, composure, and sound decision-making makes her a valuable asset and one to watch moving forward.

Gabby made the trip from Georgia to be at the showcase, and she certainly didn't disappoint with her performance. Right from the start, she showed that she belonged on the floor with some of the top talent, making an immediate impact on both ends. Offensively, she demonstrated her shooting range by confidently stepping out beyond the arc and knocking down the three, even banking one in, which highlighted her willingness to take and make big shots. In addition to stretching the defense, she was highly effective inside, finishing consistently around the basket and converting at a high percentage despite traffic. Her effort level was also impressive; she plays with tremendous energy and intensity, making it extremely difficult for opposing players to score on her. Defensively, she stayed locked in, used her body well, and never backed down from a challenge. That combination of toughness, scoring ability, and all-out effort makes Gabby a player who not only produces individually but also raises the competitive level of everyone around her.

Kimaya handled the ball with confidence and control, showing a skill level that separated her from many of her peers and made her one of the most dominant players on the middle school court. She displayed a polished offensive game, combining strong ball-handling with the ability to create her own shot. Her jumper stood out, not only when she had her feet set but also when pulling up off the dribble, which made her difficult to defend. With her exceptional quickness, she consistently put pressure on the defense, using her first step to get by defenders and attacking the rim with purpose. Once in the lane, she showed good body control and the ability to finish through traffic, often converting tough baskets. Beyond scoring, Kimaya's confidence with the ball in her hands allowed her to initiate the offense and keep her teammates involved, which added even more value to her overall impact on the game.

Autumn showed off her shooting ability during the four-on-four games, where she knocked down multiple shots from deep and even put together a couple of impressive stretches with back-to-back three pointers. Her form was smooth and consistent, and she demonstrated the kind of confidence you like to see in a young player stepping into a competitive environment. What stood out most was not just that she made shots, but the way she got them, moving well without the ball, finding open spots on the floor, and being ready to shoot in rhythm. That ability to space the floor effectively made her one of the better pure shooters in the building, and she showed that defenders couldn't afford to lose track of her. If she continues to build on that skill set and becomes more comfortable handling defensive pressure, her shooting should translate into meaningful floor time as a freshman. Coaches will value her as a reliable perimeter option who can stretch the defense and open up opportunities for her teammates.

Over 100 of the most dynamic players in the country were in the building for the EYG Skills Clinic, which has become one of the top national showcase around attracting top talent from all over the country.
