<p>Prep Girls Missouri released its newly updated Class of 2027 rankings this week. Here is a look at a group of guards and wings in the new rankings who operate under the radar.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='874625' first='Mallory' last='Moss'] (Richland): A talented 5'8" guard who is one of the top returning Class 2 players in the state. She earned All-State and All-District honors as a sophomore. She is an athletic guard who can score at all three levels. She has a nice burst to get into the lane on slashing drives. She uses her speed in the open court and she can also shoot it from 3-point range.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1231693' first='Emily' last='Landry'] (Chadwick): A 5'5" guard who helped lead the Cardinals to the Class 1 state championship last season. She really blossomed during her sophomore season as she became a starter and main player. She can shoot it from 3-point range as she made 50 triples last season. She also averaged 13 points and four rebounds a game.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1236215' first='Ireland' last='Foster'] (Marion C. Early): A 5'7" guard who plays an excellent all-purpose game. She does a multitude of things to help her team succeed. In addition to her ability to score, she can facilitate offense, rebound from the guard position and play solid defense. She is very good at stuffing the stat sheet.</p>

<p>Macy Jeffries (Green City): A 5'4" point guard who is a standout performer in the Class 1 ranks. She runs the offense while also being her team's primary offensive threat from the perimeter. As a sophomore, she averaged 18 points, three assists and four steals a game in helping lead Green City to a 22-5 record last season.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1233823' first='Dally' last='Pomeroy'] (Marionville): A talented 5'5" guard from the SWMO area. She was instrumental in the Comets winning a district championship and advancing to the Class 2 state quarterfinals last season. She is an excellent two-way player who can handle the ball and shoot it from 3-point range. She had a strong summer playing for the [program_tooltip program_id='712692' first='Missouri' last='Flight'] 16U squad.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1308666' first='Kennedy' last='Hone'] (Orchard Farm): A 5'8" point guard who I had a chance to see at the Lindenwood University Team Camp in June. She has good height for the position and she is also very smooth as a ball handler and passer. She can change speeds and directions very well. She can get into the lane to score on the drive or on the pull up jumper from the mid-range area.</p>

<p>Avery Spelling (Osage): A 5'9" guard from the Mid Mo area who has good athleticism. She uses her speed to really excel in the open court. She can knife into the lane to score on slashing drives while also being able to hit open 3-pointers. She was an All-District performer as a sophomore.</p>
