6′ Plus Impact Players – 2027

Another round of the state's tallest talent — a mix of D1-caliber players and others still developing into varsity-level contributors. Every one of these athletes brings a height advantage that makes college coaches take notice. The real intrigue will be seeing how each uses that size to refine their game and separate themselves in the coming season.

6'5"

Grace is currently showcasing her athleticism on the volleyball court, but even while away from basketball, she's picked up multiple D1 offers. Her length gives her a huge advantage on the boards, often snagging rebounds before shorter opponents can react. If she continues to refine her put-back game over the next two years, she has the potential to draw national attention.

6'3"

Kaylin's game has really come together as she's grown into her frame over the past year. Her recent focus on speed and agility is starting to pay off, improving both her perimeter presence and transition play. With small schools already showing interest, continued development could easily put her on the radar for NAIA and even larger programs.

Brooklyn has learned to use her height to her advantage, consistently putting up double-digit points. She dominates the boards, alters shots with her defensive presence, and can stretch the floor by knocking down the three. Offensively, she's just as effective posting up and finishing inside. A great teammate and floor presence, Ava has all the tools — and if she grows more confident initiating contact, she could elevate her game to an unstoppable level, especially in a division with few players her size.

As one of the two tallest players in Region 2 this season—and with another year still ahead of her—Brynn has the potential to be an impact player not just for Westlake, but statewide. With her size and strong fundamentals — great footwork, soft hands, and the ability to score both inside and out — she's already a matchup problem. If she can improve her speed and mobility, she has the potential to become one of the top players in her class. With Villa gone from Provo, she has a prime opportunity to step into a key role in the paint this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='825056' first='Kennedy' last='Searle'] || Tooele

[player_tooltip player_id='839444' first='Hoku' last='Pili'] || Granger

[player_tooltip player_id='827421' first='Paige' last='Smith'] || Jordan
