Sage was hands down the most impressive player on the floor late Friday night. Anyone who still thinks she's just a flashy “behind-the-back pass” player hasn't seen her lately — she was breaking ankles with dribble switches and firing pinpoint baseball passes cross-court to cutters in stride. Her speed and court vision are next-level, and with the confidence she's playing with right now, she's only going to keep climbing and turning heads this season.

The floor general for Copper Hills on Friday was [player_tooltip player_id='1206007' first='Abby' last='Bush']. Her quickness and court vision set the tone all night — one possession she's draining a deep three, the next she's the first one crashing the boards. Lethal from beyond the arc, she made every defender who gave her space regret it. Abby looked confident, composed, and fully ready to lead this new Copper Hills roster.

One of the pleasant surprises of the night was Tapusoa. She showed great composure with the ball in her hands, reading the defense and attacking gaps the moment they relaxed. Her smooth, controlled drives to the rim were matched by a clean shooting touch, and her length made her a factor on both ends — contesting shots, disrupting passes, and finishing through traffic.

Kynzie is a new addition to the PGH roster, but she has the potential to make a real impact this season as she earns more varsity minutes at Copper Hills. What she lacks in size, she makes up for with relentless energy, grit, and hustle. She plays bigger than she is — diving for loose balls, pressuring defenders, and bringing the kind of spark every team needs on the floor.

Sela had the ball in her hands often last night and made the most of it, putting points on the board and creating opportunities for her team. While she's not the tallest player on the floor, she battled inside and pulled down key rebounds. Her defensive pressure was disruptive, and her nonstop energy brought a lift to everyone on the court.
